If Second and Final Coil are really 20% easier then why are people STILL having problems with them? A company mate of mine runs a static and has made many runs on Turn 9 and still has yet to get a win. He's not some noobie, either, he's a Legacy just like me and has been on the forefront of all the content this game has to offer. I don't get this resentment over the easing of difficulty on Coil, those who care about it have all done it already. Let those who can't get a static group enjoy it for a change.

I'm not sure how being a Legacy player is a measurement of skill.
1.0 was vastly different, being good at that does not equal being good at this.

So are most of the players then, considering coil is a reserved game for the 'elites' in FFXIV. But hey, wouldn't want content that can be cleared by just anyone, right? I mean those 10% hardcore players would get bored if they didn't have anyone to pick on for being 'noobie'.

If I recall correctly Yoshi-P did say that Echo is coming to FCoB, so this is probably what it is. I wouldn't be that surprised after all the complaints in various places that basically said "f**k you" to Steps of Faith that they also put in some nerfs to the trial. After all, everything in this game gets nerfed. Everything.

Probably T10-T12 echo, possibly nerfs... Though I don't see how 10 and 11 could be nerfed without making them absolute cakewalks. It'd be so fun if they removed tether + charge on 10 and thus made it the new T6.

i will say the same thing i keep saying for my friends in FC (and iw as saying this for 2.55) do not get your hopes up for poetic cap unlock, just treat it as if it isn't going to be un capped if it is Brilliant if not oh well you weren't worried :3

I suppose it's about time for that. I have a fair few friends who haven't cleared 9 yet, mostly because they've been told it's hell and also because very few players want to go back to it once they're in FCoB. We do FC events where we get people clears like that, but I guess not everyone's so lucky and has to find capable players themselves.

No mentions on Zodiac loot drop rates? I hope they increase Zodiac Loot drop rate for this patch as well since I still have a few friends struggling with their loots until now.
