T9 didn't get nerfs, only the Echo added to it, which is why it retains its difficulty.If Second and Final Coil are really 20% easier then why are people STILL having problems with them? A company mate of mine runs a static and has made many runs on Turn 9 and still has yet to get a win. He's not some noobie, either, he's a Legacy just like me and has been on the forefront of all the content this game has to offer. I don't get this resentment over the easing of difficulty on Coil, those who care about it have all done it already. Let those who can't get a static group enjoy it for a change.
You don't need a static group to clear T9. I've helped multiple people get clears via PF and I know plenty of people who have gotten their clears the very same way. Heck, my own first clear was with three friends and four PUGs.
EDIT: I should also add, I've been DFing Turns 6 and 7 to farm for the rest of the HA DRG set. I've been averaging about a 90% clear rate there even with two or more new people every time.

Well if they nerf fcob this patch what changes?
Ppl gonna clear normally as they were farming all week everyday.
Besides it's pretty close to expac so idk y u'd wanna cling onto something tht will be like lol wut its not even worth the hassle when u can do the new alexander raid etc.
soon ppl won't do fcob similar to how ppl don't do t3 because its pointless and will only be for clears and maybe crafting materials.
Hopefully they fix/ add a few more QoL things and tie up some loose ends before 3.0.
Maybe this patch's just about letting moogle cap dyeable ...
I don't really care if they add echo to Final Coil since a lot of us are just fishing for gear on for alt jobs. The thing is mechanical nerfs aren't really needed at this point. Not until they add it to pure cross-server DF. Even still, Final Coil is considerably more forgiving than Second Coil was. Oh well, I don't really care either way they'll do whatever they want. My input on this matter doesn't really mean a hill of beans in the grand scheme of things.
While it is of course clearable (since the DPS check is pretty much non existant now) it doesn't change the Fact that it is still pretty hard content, especially since messing up the Mechanics still murders you.
I did finish it over PF, though I also failed MANY Times since one ... challenged ... Person can still easily produce a wipe -.- (What do you mean don't cluster the Golems? That way we can AOE them down lol! Oh and Sorry I murdered the Healer by dropping a Meteor on them)
Then again what would they change? also it's the Gate to FCoB so I always considered it a Skill Check of Sorts.
I bet my 40k gil is the first echo at 10% for FCOB (15% would be nice)
Very likely to be T10-T12 nerfs. I don't understand the people who get so mad about easing old content. Why do you even play video games? You just seem miserable about them.
I hope they will remove the cap for poetic. They removed the weekly cap on many dungeons like WoD, so it'd be nice if they were to do the same for the weekly poetic cap.
