The Egi Conundrum: Heavensward and Beyond!

Diabolos should probably be among possible candidates as well. As far as beyond goes, I imagine SMN will max out at either 8 or 9 Egis, 7 and 8 being light and dark, and if they choose to, the 9th being Unaspected. Whom they could be is anyone's guess.

Yeah 8 to 9 Egi would make sense. We will definitely get one for each Aspect I'm sure. However in regards to Unaspected Egi in theory you could have multiple ones to aquire. But I guess that all depends on what the ultimate level cap will be.

I guess Unaspected Egi could also be released even after said cap has been reached of course and just simply be "clones" of previous Egi play styles that just have a new model overlay. This in theory could allow SMN to obtain Egi of all Primals without them getting any more or "new" abilities over any other job. These extra Unaspected Egi would essentially be optional Egi you could say. Not sure how viable that idea is in reality but it would be nice for an Egi of every Primal to be available.

Sadly, Diabolos isn't a primal, at least it's never said. I wish he was!
I'd love to have a mini Diabolos or Siren following me around.

I know right! When I first played through the ARR story I thought for sure Siren would be a Primal, as well as Diabolos. Since there isn't much lore on either I guess there is still a chance they could indeed be Primals. They would make great candidates for the light and dark Egi. Though Bismarck or Alexander might have the light attribute covered, I feel Bismarck is more likely going to be unaspected though.
