And Garuda into Ramuh. This is the sort of thing I've really been hoping they do. And the skills themselves leave it open for it. Summon only says "Caster-type Summon," Summon II says "Tank-type," and Summon III says "Attacker-type." I think it'd be great if Leviathan-Egi switched with Ifrit and used piercing damage (to foil Ifrit's slashing), and then Ramuh could have some sort of static mechanic that added stacks that powered up his Enkindle.

Leviathan can be a healer, Spring Water would be like a Medica II centered on him and also remove some debuffs(only poison blind slow paralyzed heavy). Can give him Tail Whip which would be an AoE damage+20-30% slow for 20sec, Aquaveil an AoE Surecast, long recast though like 180-300s, Tidal Roar would do small damage on single target but reduce their damage by 15%. It's hard to make them all different without making SMN kind of a hybrid RDM type job.

Also if they release shiva leviathan and ramuh, SMN will need a Tridisaster II haha.
if there will be a healing egi, give sch an attacking fairy. :/

I think that it's too late to make any sugestion (I think that SE already know what they will change) but i get hyped with my own ideas and I can't do anything but post them:

Removed spells: Fester (it will be replaced by Enkindle II)
    New trait: Aetherdam IV
    New spells:
    Swiftsummon ((this one is important))
    20 sec Recast and it's off-GCD
Let you swap you pet. Your next summon spell is cast immediately and cost no mana. Additional Effect: Give you the Elemental Alignment of your current pet after summon. Additional Effect: Reset Enkindle II recast time after summon
Can be only used if you have already a summon, cannot be used to summon your current pet or the pet of your current Elemental Alignment
The pet will be summoned in the current pet position
    Elemental Alignment per pet: Ifrit(fire), Garuda(wind), Titan(earth), Ramuh(lightning), Leviathan(Water), Shiva(Ice), Enkidu(Chicken)
Summon a pet removes Elemental Alignment

    Enkindle II
    20 sec Recast and it's off-GCD
Commands pet to use a powerful atack, can only be used when under the effect of Aetherflow.
Ifrit: Crimson Cyclone: Delivers a charging attack with a potency of 110 for each effect of Bio, Bio II, Miasma, Water Spout and Thunderspark cast by master or his pets
Garuda: Contagion (the current Contagion is removed): Extends duration of damage over time effects already cast by master or his pets by 10s
Titan: Tumult: Deals earth damage with a potency of 100 to all nearby enemies (5y). Additional Effect: Increased enmity. Additional Effect: Decreases damage suffered by pet and master by 20% for 20s
Ramuh: Thunderspark: Deals lightning damage with a potency of 25 for each effect of Bio, Bio II, Miasma and Water Spout for 15s
Leviathan: Water Spout: Deals water damage with a potency of 200 to all nearby enemies (8y) Additional Effect: Water damage with potency of 10 for 15 seconds.
Shiva: Icicle Impact: Deals ice damage with a potency of 200 to target and all targets nearby it. Additional Effect: Bind for 20s.
Enkidu: Chicken Agility: Shortens recast time of his main ability to 1.75 sec

    Reworked spells:
    Spur:

    60 sec Recast and it's off-GCD
Increases a pet's physical and magical attack power by 20% for 20s. Additional Effect: Imbues your pet with your current Elemental Alignment
Cannot be used if your pet is under Rouse's efect
Fire: Increases damage dealt by pet by 20%.
Wind: Each time the pet's main ability hits the target extends duration of damage over time effects already cast by master or his pets by 1s
Earth: Reduce damage taken by pet and master by 20%
Lightning: Each time the pet's main ability hits the target deals lightning damage with a potency of 10 for each damage over time effects already cast by master
Water: Reduce damage dealt by pet by 30%. Additional Effect: Pet's main ability and autoatacks gains effect radius of 5y
Ice: Each time the pet's main ability hits the target deals ice damage with a potency of 20. Additional Effect: Pet's main ability inflicts Heavy +40% for 10s
Chicken: Shortens recast time of pet's main ability to 2 sec

    Tri-disaster
10 sec Recast (after second activation) and it's off-GCD
Absorbs damage over time effects already cast by you and your pets
You can recast within 10 sec to apply those effects in your current target

    New summons ability:
Earthen Ward (Titan) and Radiant Shield (Ifrit) are replaced by the Enkindle II spells.

Ramuh: Delivers an attack with a potency of 110. Cast time 2 segs, Range 15y
Leviathan: Delivers an attack with a potency of 50 to main target and 2 neardly enemies.
Shiva: Delivers an attack with a potency of 90. Additional Effect: Heavy +40% for 10s. (melee)
Enkidu: Delivers an attack with a potency of 100. (melee)

Every new pet have a low potency AoE atack and a CC spell

    Random Fun ideas:
1-Spur now makes your pet bigger or gives them a more primal look
2- Ruin is replaced by Book Smacking: Delivers an attack with a potency of 100. (melee)
    http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__.../Maka_Chop.jpg
3- Ruin II is replaced by Book Trow: Delivers an attack with a potency of 90. (25y)
It's like the atack that the twins make in Ultimate Figth Final Fantasy XIV

The idea is that you can't waste all aetherflow charges unless you change your pet (well, you can waste spare charges with Energy Drain, but it isn't ideal)
Elemental Alignment makes that you need rotate between 3 pets at least
Spur/Rouse with 60s CD makes that you can use it in the same pet all the time, unless you delay 30 sec to use it again
You can use Spur/Rouse at the same time, so you will use them in different pets
The idea is that you will make combos between debuffs, pet abilities and Spur

My real wonder is will the new egi's look as terrible as Garuda or like a flying amputee like titan? Egi's just don't feel interactive and honestly people are only going to use whichever has the most DPS or makes their own DPS better. Wish the summons were temp but very high damage or had abilities useful to what they were but had a specialization to where you can summon a strong egi of your choice but the others are weaker.

Omg lol, guys, please educate yourself with the new SMN guide that was posted here. There are a lot of stupid suggestions or opinions people have without understanding the job. Read the guide, read the comments, and just wait til Heavensward to see what SMN gets. 10 good suggestions on this sub forum are killed with 100 bad ones.

The Egi's that we fight are larger and have the same abilities as their primal but when we get them their smaller and have fewer abilities.
Ifrit Egi- summons fire sprites and does volcanic eruption
Titan Egi- does weight of the land
Garuda Egi- summons plumes, Egi Chirada and Suprana.

Pets should be treated like a tool kit with Hard Mode Primal abilities also Egis should have individual cool downs.
Ifrit Egi - single target bursts
    Titan Egi - multi-target tank
    Garuda Egi - AoE Bursts
Leviathan Egi - sustained single target damage
    Ramuh- AoE debuffer
    Shiva- AoE crowd control
