I was arguing for you, then you take a shot at me lel.As for those that argue that the server is a joke, well, i don't see most of you doing those savage turns either, despite all your bark, so i guess that makes you the butt of your own joke. At least we're not so buried into our own cynism that we can't appreciate a challenge without some gear carrot to motivate us, even if it took us a helluva long time to get there. What's your excuse, old men ?
Classic Casper.
Shoulda have proclaimed your love for me Jeral
Why would I lie on the internet?
Well, i apologize for that. Although i still fail to see the point in being so dramatic about the state of the server -- when i look at the other EU servers, most of them have a couple hardcore FC, but after that a structure very similar to what we have on Phoenix. Some EU servers even have less progression than us. I couldn't care less about a dot on a page, but saying that nobody cares about progression is just false -- one just has to look at the different group that are currently attempting some savage turns or another. That's what we are dealing with, anyway, so why the need to trashtalk our server to death saying that we all suck ? Can't we just do what we can, no matter the state of progress on the server, and enjoy ourselves ?
No matter all this trashtalk, it was a fun fight, and still quite a reasonnable challenge, certainly much harder than all of FCOB, even in i130. I'm glad we were able to kill it, and i look forward to take on the other turns. And i also look forward to other group similarly joining the fun and doing their best to kill those, and some good spirit competition between groups is always good for motivation. So yeah, i do care about progress, even if the whole server is completely behind on world progress, and other care as well, because it's the main challenge that remain until 3.0 hit us. Might as well enjoy it as much as we can.
I really dislike drama, so I'll just pretend the last few pages never happened. I would like to go back to a very good point made by Ravona though:
This is something that was completely missed, not sure if intentionally or not, but I feel like it would be good to set some kind of parameters for everything savage. Now, going all like "no i110 no dot" is a bit reductive since all everyone posts as proof is a screenshot. I mean, a group can go in there in full i130, get the kill, have everyone swap to i110 gear and then take the screenshot. Maybe it would be worth it to, I don't know, have two separate savage columns, so we can record whoever does it before next tier of content and who does it after, so we can (hopefully) avoid further drama and do what this thread should be about, recording kills. There are two arguments that cropped up last time with regards to Savage:
1) First is First, any kill is Server First as long you kill it before someone else.
2) Server First outside of it's literal meaning is about progression and should not be given when the game moves on to the next tier of content. Even if no-one kills it until 5.0.
Let's just talk about which of those two (or a variant) is how people feel we should record these things, because it will most likely be relevant for Alexander (Savage), without any personal stuff or drama.
If anyone has a better idea, please do speak your mind!
Without any kind of rule in place, well, I'm sorry but you'll have people coming here posting screenshots of kills that haven't been done before in this server claiming "server first", which is what happened in this case, apparently upsetting people.
Yeah, could have done that indeed.
Damn our integrity!
Can ya'll stop shitting up the thread already so we don't have to make a new one just yet? That'd be great.
Can you guys grow up and give it a rest already what does it matter to most of y'all anyways. Just let it go already.
