All right so let me get this straight: If it is not in i110 it doesn't count ? Because that's the geat that was intended for it ? Where do you draw the line ? Do we remove fear turn 13 server first because they took 5 weeks to kill it and had too much gear by then ? The argument is about as solid -- not very.

More to the point, do you expect anybody to go back and meld materias 4 into i90 crafted gear ? That "i110" argument is funny because no one ever did those without going out of their way to cheat on their stats using gear. No one did this fight with the hp pool that people had access to in full HA or whatever. And nobody is going to burn dozens of millions of gil to craft otherwise useless accessories just to prove a point. I suppose that makes you happy -- you can continue having your delusionned view of the world ("ohhh back in the days people were truly hardcore, but now they are all a bunch of crybabies that suck, GET OUT OF MY LAWN GODDAMMIT") without the FEAR of anyone breaking your bubble, comfortable in your armchair where you spend your old days iddling.

Yeah, the fight is easier in i130. So what ? I still don't see any group that did it before that, so clearly it must not be THAT easy.

As for those that argue that the server is a joke, well, i don't see most of you doing those savage turns either, despite all your bark, so i guess that makes you the butt of your own joke. At least we're not so buried into our own cynism that we can't appreciate a challenge without some gear carrot to motivate us, even if it took us a helluva long time to get there. What's your excuse, old men ?

Well, i apologize for that. Although i still fail to see the point in being so dramatic about the state of the server -- when i look at the other EU servers, most of them have a couple hardcore FC, but after that a structure very similar to what we have on Phoenix. Some EU servers even have less progression than us. I couldn't care less about a dot on a page, but saying that nobody cares about progression is just false -- one just has to look at the different group that are currently attempting some savage turns or another. That's what we are dealing with, anyway, so why the need to trashtalk our server to death saying that we all suck ? Can't we just do what we can, no matter the state of progress on the server, and enjoy ourselves ?

No matter all this trashtalk, it was a fun fight, and still quite a reasonnable challenge, certainly much harder than all of FCOB, even in i130. I'm glad we were able to kill it, and i look forward to take on the other turns. And i also look forward to other group similarly joining the fun and doing their best to kill those, and some good spirit competition between groups is always good for motivation. So yeah, i do care about progress, even if the whole server is completely behind on world progress, and other care as well, because it's the main challenge that remain until 3.0 hit us. Might as well enjoy it as much as we can.

You're not obliged to use this progression thread or required to, so it'd be great if every time you guys posted in here you didn't come in swinging your arms like an angry coblyn. Maybe if you didn't post with such snarky comments from the start people would respect you. I don't know how you can have such a huge stick up yourself when you're a Lala. That's why Miri had to Fantasia to a Roe-like Highlander. I don't get it; this thread is about community and success, but you always come in (you did it in the old thread. So don't go there.) and aggressively post information.

Having 6 'reported' groups doing content 6+ Months after its release is hardly a championing shout out to the server's raid capacity. Albiet, there is a large community of non-english and generally people who don't care about this thread. (There are a lot of Final Witness/Savage titles in game from GER/FR groups - HEAPS more people on our server and clearing stuff than is reported or given credit for.)

FWIW I'm stirring things because why not, but the attitude presented in the past two pages by multiple parties stinks.
