Bad clock CPU/RAM will give error, bad HDD or SSD will freeze computer. A instant black screen shutdown, that is your PSU protection underload or overload protection. Mine was a HX750, been like that for months until I replaced it with EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2, I haven't had the problem anymore.
I will consider replacing my PSU then. Before I buy a new one, what are the things I should look out for a new PSU?
