    2. Inaccessible new zones and new Jobs is not a selling point. That is telling a potential new customer not to bother purchasing the expansion until they finish they 2.55 storyline... which they might not even care about because the Job they want to play will not be available for them until they are item level 90.

    3. A continuation of 2. The new customer might not even know of the 2.55 completion requirement, so they'll have wasted their money on something they can't even play.

Because getting to i90 is so very difficult, right?

Maybe they should be a informed consumer and know what they are buying.

And where exactly will a new customer look. As far as I know, only the Live Letters on this forum inform you that 2.55 is a requirement. If the new Jobs are indeed going to be locked behind a level 50 i90 wall, then SE are required to put "Heavensward content is inaccessible until you finish Before the Fall Part 2. This requires you to be level 50 and item level 90." on all physical box copies and on their website. They'll even have to advertise that requirement as well.

What's with you and then ilvl90 business? I had to start BLM fresh out the box just yesterday after pumping junk on DRG I wouldn't use much in the end.
Here's how to become ilvl 80 in a few days flat.
    1. You get your AF gear, buy some accessories, go roll CT. Get Ilvl 80 gear.
    2. Go to ST. Ilvl 100. Hell even between then you can buy some items 100/110/120 from Rowena and co. Do EXP roul. get Acc's/gear for i100.
There you're done. I mean they throw soldiers in your face at this point. Gearing 1 job to i120 is nothing now thanks to the unlocks of WoD.

This where I want to say; You shouldn't be rushing the hell out of this game anyways because the first time around was amazing. It gets quite dry repeating the same stuff
you've been doing for 2-ish years. Enjoy the new game smell while you can. That new content in HW isn't going anywhere. Also, I am sure many people will first read up on an expansion and what it entails and the requirements to unlocks the content.

And then do that all over again when you unlock the new Jobs that start at level 30... or not and skip passed them because you got the necessary gear for when your {New Job} hits 51.

Try that on a new world with a new character with no buffs or gil and see how much fun it is. Unfortunately you have the benefit of understanding how the game is played unlike a new player.

I have...we all have before when we started this game...The game hands you stuff out like cake by now. Newbies have it much easier than what we had done back in 2.0 +.
The only thing I said there that you needed a bit of gil there is the accessories to help you enter CT and I also said, I started BLM fresh...I had never saved any BLM gear, period...sepct i100 necklace I got on accident.
You don't need much Gil unless repairs and by then people should have a good amount. Need weapon at 50 but can't do relic yet? I looked just now, a ton of i52 is about 6k or 15k or less so here in Balmung.
So dump a few k to get your foot in the door.
[Sell those little Allagan coins you get. It racks up.]
I've done most of this game by myself with no friends or FC. It's very much possible and easy.

Not only that but I learned the troubles of starting on a Legacy server where economy is crazy. So if anyone understands alts its me, considering I have multiple 50s. On 4 different servers. Meaning I've grind out not knowing anyone on 4 different servers. Starting from scratch. My alts ilvls are i100~ np. And thats waiting 30 minutes and dying 10000 times plus in DF.
Do you know how hard it is to win Titan EX in DF? I do. I understand, and which I help out people, Set up markers, put signs on the top of my head, anything to progress.
It is EASY to make money on a new character. My alts have way more money than my main LOL.
