Heavensward - Opening Movie (warning contains spoilers)

The Derplander as people call him added nothing worthwhile to the trailer at all. Could've just left him out entirely and instead shown an extra scene or two of Ishgard being attacked by dragons.

He represents us and Shows us fleeing to ishgard and fighting for Ishgard, he also Shows what many Player were missing during the 2.55 CS's (some emotions besides our usual nod)
I think it is good that they added him to represent us and i also think that his presence in the Trailer is rather important.

Aside from being a WAR and switching to DRG. Honestly, I wish that guy just wasn't in the trailers at all. He adds nothing worthwhile and only serves to remind us that, apparently, SE intends for our characters to be nothing more than a stand-in for that lame, boring Hyur.

Even Derplander got tired of the high expectations on tanks and rerolled DPS. :C

What ever happened to Derplander's crew? The other WoL's.
I wish they put them in the mix more.

I'm a little frustrated that a few characters won't shown in the recap of the 2.55 ending. Ilberd is(?) just a silhouette of a man holding a sword off to the side and nothing is shown of the Scions risking/losing their lives throughout our escape.

Aside from that, this had me very excited for 3.0 and beyond and I also value the presence of the Derplander, allowing us to follow his story as well as our own.

I guess some time has passed if Raubhanana looks like that.
What ever happened to Derplander's crew? The other WoL's.
I wish they put them in the mix more.

It's just been a couple of days. All they've really done is messed up his hair a little and changed his spirit. He's no longer the proud radiant lion of Ul'Dah.

Derplander finally realised warrior isn't DPS and changed to Derpgoon.

Just like the derplander i started this game as a warrior thinking it was a dps class

For some reason, I don't think we'd stand a chance against an entire army of Brass Blades and Crystal Braves. Internal politics need to play out, things will be settled in due time. We don't have the blessing of light anymore, can't communicate with Hyd, we'd basically be trying to fight an army or muck around in political affairs we won't do too well in.

I imagine not having the blessing of light would really hurt when those Brass Blades start to cast Ultima.

His hair was litteraly white. They forced him to dye his hair !
