Is there any way to play the game as DPS? Or just end subscription?

You seem to be missing the point of the armory system if you retainer all the gear for other classes when you're out leveling a class.
Your base inventory has 100 slots.
your armory has 25 spaces per slot.
When you queue up, it really is in your best interest to do other things. You mention TT. You're OK with doing TT, which can't be canceled why in progress, while waiting on a queue, but not ok with leveling another class at the same time? or crafting? Or hell gathering?
You have 100 inventory slots JUST for things that aren't equipment. I'd suggest you utilize them. Level a gathering profession.
You can switch classes at literally the push of a button and you're complaining about multi-tasking being hard. I...really don't think this is the game for you.

Pretty much what I have gotten from this thread is over half of the people replying have not read the entire OP as they suggest things I already do, failing to realize that limit SE put on that content, or they mention making friends and socializing, which is something else I do, but no one wants to do that content as they are burned out of it, and DF/PF, which I also mentioned doing is also grouping and socializing. People are not reading entire OP. Only about 6 or 7 replies in this thread have been sensible replies, while everything else completely overlooks most of what I said in the OP. I never said anything about not socializing and also never said anything about not doing anything during queue. Problem is SE has a limit on all of those things you can do during a queue, and some of those things don't need limits, such as leve allowances, or weekly reset for challenge log. Saying SE can't do anything is definitely wrong. I already pointed out some, plus SE themselves mentioned a plan they will be implementing for solo dungeons, most likely for situations like mine where content is dead and no one doing it and no one wants to help.

Basically no one has a solution, but thanks anyways. At least someone from Levi saw thread and offered to join up with me in case I don't un-sub.

the dps queues are baaad y'all, I'm over here leveling my alt's paladin job solely so I can farm my black mage zodiac in a reasonable time frame. that's obscene. i literally cannot make reasonable progress on my black mage weapon while playing black mage. is your answer to not having friends willing to run the piss cave between 5 and 10 times straight to seriously "get new friends?" i seriously want you to find 3 people who will hear the phrase "please run aurum vale with me potentially infinite times" and not begin clawing their eyes out in tyol 2015

am i doing it? yes. is it a valid solution? yes. do i fault anyone for deciding to just friggin' unsub rather than do that? absolutely not. the players willing to put up with this are minority contingent and it shows when content droughts like this are happening

we literally have over twice as many DPS jobs as non-DPS jobs. and while I believe there's no magic bullet solution to tank and healer shortages, queues of up to an hour for DPS players trying to do casual endgame content is literally something I have never experienced in any other major game ever, including several literally dead ones like aion. something can and hopefully will be done in heavensward between shiny new jobs and the ability to solo or semi-solo very casual content, but "basic things sensible players hope are fixed in heavensward" is kind of an endlessly growing list of basic design competencies this should have exhibited by 2.3

Just quit. You're obviously not having any fun and have come to the forums to have people convince you to stay. You've been provided multiple solutions to your issue but continue to cry over...heck, I don't know? Not being able to solo Cutters Cry to get that sick BIS aetherial gear for your DRG? No I'm not. My inventory and armoury are consistently full even with DoM, DoL, and DoH gear in retainer. I also said in the OP that TT is NOT an option. Not sure where you got I was okay with TT from. You can't level another class at the same time. Switching classes does not reset the challenge log, or give you leve allowances, or any other limits SE puts on solo content.

Hey at least you don't get kicked for being afk while waiting in queue like most other games

But short answer, if you can't deal with the queue times and you absolutely insist on playing dps, then it may be time to move on to some other game like Wildstar where each class has 2 roles by default.

Can't play Wildstar. It's not available on console. And queue time is not the issue. It's leveling the job I'm queuing with while waiting on queue.
