Agreed. Mnks should have that. All classes however should not because the animations would make no sense. If jelly get a mnk nuff said. (Drops keybroad) (no keyboards were harmed in the making of this comment).
Fundamentally those would be different classes in this game. Put that in the "it doesn't match the armory system in the slightest so it's never going to happen" box.

throw the gauntlet. do it.From a World setting and story perspective, not having a visible shield would mean that you couldn't use shield bash or shield lob, and as such we have no plans to introduce an "Emperor's New Shield." However, we may be able to make a small shield so that it doesn't stand out too much, so we will look into that.

Emperor New Shield doesn't mean there is no shield, it is just invisible to normal peopleSo we can use a shield skill normally

Why are you still giving this excuse of preserving the World Setting and keep the immersion of the game? Why players can't have a transparent shield because it breaks the immersion but they can protect their allies completely naked? Since the implementation of Glamours, there is no point in defend immersion, when warrios are fighting in bikinis and skilled mages are hitting 6000 points of damage with a Damaged Cudgel. Just give what players want, it shouldn't be hard to implement a New Emperor's Shield; if Paladins can do their job with a transparent armor, why not with a transparent shield? We don't have any plans to make all weapon types transparent; however, for monks, we are planning to release something once we look more into the concept of fighting with their own fists.

Also, please, fix the Glamour system so Disciples of Magic can have the same variety of options than Disciples of War, isn't fair that a Dragon can glamour a robe but a Scholar can't glamour an armor.

Glamour existed in the game before it was an option for gear to us adventures.
It doesn't break immersion or lore.

While I agree that Glamor isnt' anything new, I believe in the context of gear, what their complaint was that we had Heavy armor users who appeared as lightly armored. I dont' believe any NPC's glamored were heavily armored. Usually, their gear matched in both forms (usually just civilian clothes)
To argue that Glamor makes sense for armor to be a bikini but not to have an invisible shield is just... well, it's just plain silly. You can say you dont' like it - and that's very respectful though. But dont' try to argue the sense as it basically backpeddles on itself at that point.

I don't really see the harm in an invisible shield. The way you position your arm while holding a shield basically means that if your shield weren't there, you'd be doing all your shield activities with your forearm. Shield Bash would look like you're backhanding the mob, Shield Swipe would look like you're doing a weird uppercut, Block animation, you'd be blocking with your forearm and so on. Shield Lob is probably the only one that would look bizarre; you'd essentially be throwing an energy ball.
All that said, the way you hold your arm while holding a shield would look pretty odd if the shield would be invisible. If they added this feature, I doubt many would take advantage of it because, well, it would make their character look pretty stupid.
As for invisible weapons, aside from MNK I don't see it happening, both for the same reason as Shield (your character would look dumb holding nothing, while looking as though they're holding something), and also because weaponskill animations would look strange (all the swish swish patterns in the air with no actual weapon to accompany them). Unless the suggestion also is to "hide" the weapon animations and postures by creating a whole new set of animations and postures to account for an invisible weapon... But honestly, that's asking for an awful lot more than just invisible weapons. I highly doubt they'd ever consider something so developer-instense.
