Technically you should rarely come across a situation where you have a Firestater proc in UI3 as you should learn how to Fireweave to maximize DPS on your last Fire 1. But if you do end up with a Firestarter proc in UI3 then you should definitely Transpose to AF1 before you use it.

How is that even good? What are you even weaving at the last fire? Can't be anything that does damage, or you're just playing BLM wrong.... So in the end, you're just waiting for a potential Firestarter proc, which will lower your DPS.

EDIT: Weaving Raging Strikes and Quelling Strikes is another thing, but you'll use that at the start of the fire rotation... just using a useless spell after the last fire won't increase your DPS
