Leaving a FC ran my a family member? (Lengthy Read)

Long story short, I played during beta, video drivers failed and had to stop anyway due to financial issues. They offered to buy me a copy for console and pay for my subscription due to such. I play quite a bit when my son is not here and at his mothers due to being on disability but they have only been on a couple times to play with me since the past 25 days and have only been on for a total of about an hour the past week and a half.

I got a class to 50, currently I.LVL 89 and need to upgrade my relic but have yet to do so. Miner is almost 50 and all my other classes I got to 15-20 just so I did not have to later and been playing triad a good bit so have 54 cards at the moment so obviously I have got way past them.

I never had to go through this kind of scenario so I guess typing it out helps relieve some stress and I really do hate drama but I still have their LS so I can still play with them and such but I feel like I could get more out of it so I can enjoy myself.

Either way, she is a bit stubborn as well but I love her just not quite sure how she will take it honestly and even though I would normally be upfront about it, since they were nice enough to do what they have done it makes me feel a bit guilty and also stuck in a bind but I am grateful.

I did recruit a couple people for their FC I am in but one got kicked for certain reason, then two left. I had to bug them for more access since they are rarely on, I feel like I am doing everything which I am so it is starting to bug me. I did have a talk to them about that but they are busy with work and when they are off now, they are just playing some new games they got recently which is fine but i feel I am more into the game than them and just want more out of it like I said.

Anyone had to go through something like this?

Opinions would be nice to on how you would approach this. I think I have the right approach in mind but I told my friends to give me a week to leave and make the right approach with little to no drama/damage as possible. Sorry for the multiple posts, could not shove it all in one post .

i didnt understand anything here really.if you wanna leave just tell'em you are leaving, if they have a problem with that then yea it sucks but if they are actual friends/family and not losers then they will be supportive of ur decision either way

in all honesty, just tellem that the FC just isnt for you, not active, not doing enough things together etc.
if they get upset then they will just get upset, subtley or forwardly, if they are that type then they will get upset at you regardless.


but ya...just tellem. then leave and stuff, thats what i would do personally

Yeah sorry, long post. That is what I want to do really, me and her used to be close playing games all the time while she was growing up etc she really had no friends except a handful but rarely went out so kind of makes it a bit harder I guess but she has done quite a bit for me as well otherwise I would be like "Hey I'm leaving, sorry but this isnt working." I guess it still is as simple as that just would honestly make me feel like complete crap but I guess there is no other way except to make it sound much more pleasant and more mannered still a pain.

take it with this viewpoint. the way the game is structured, because of linkshells and all sorts of other things, a Freecompany is just one linkshell with a house and Frecompany actionsso i think it should be fine if you have her in your linkshell as youve said.
its not as if you are telling her you wont be playing with her ever again, ykno?

Yeah true, I was planning to keep the LS but knowing her she will be stubborn about it but I guess that information I could use to possibly make her not as angry haha...

Make a new character, create a new adventure for yerself, while keeping yer character in the FC to not disappoint anyone.. You could resume yer first character when she plays again..
No drama~~~ lowest damage possible~~

The good part about this would be if the person ever plays again, you'll be progressing together

The bad part is, kinda like ditching all of your hardwork until now to create a new character..
