SE, you underestimate your power with the cash shop

The reason there is a sub is so that devs and companies have a constant source of income, and the reward for that is a lack of pay gates in anyway. The fact that they've implemented a cash shop and put items there only, unobtainable in any other way is a pay gate, not to mention insulting to the player base. Only reason I'm not against the shop completely is that it's all cosmetics

When it comes to vanity items I'd say most of the rage comes from not being able to obtain the cash shop items in game with some other method, not because people care how others spend their money. A lot of people don't think they should have to spend more than the subscription they're paying to access all content, including glamour, and personally I agree with them.

Most items in the cash shop give me the Salvager NPC ingame for some gil.
Don't miss the events and you don't need the cash shop (except fo wedding and Fantasia)

To OP: SE should bring first a FF VII HD remake for PS3/4 before putting those items into the cash shop.
