Heavensward CE preorders not being released in AUS???

It says in big letters "From 12PM Monday 30 March 2015".

I can see that, but there is no indication on the site about it. Usually they list the games and take preorders on a certain date, as advertisement.

Oh ok I didn't know that. I just thought they'd put it up at the specified time. Though if they put it up before then consider it bookmarked. ^^;

Considering how many people have been asking at my local store about this, one would think EB would have something on their site about it... but nope... nothing yet. In any event, I probably won't be getting this CE unless there's a way from my local store to put the money I've already paid off it... but don't think they can do that.

I think it's pretty lame of EB Games to not let you do that. Considering they were telling people it'd automatically get upgraded to CE if they laid down the $50 deposit. :\

really dont understand why its so seriously over priced its n expansion not a new game so yup looks like im gonna wait til its available for preorder on playstation ._.

It seems a less crazy depending on what you value. It can be broken down to be quite reasonable especially considering our much lower population, how expensive it can be for logistics into Australia, and that stores need to make a margin off the products they sell.

In saying that, I'll be super pee'd off if the art book was anything less than the recent Art of Eorzea. It better not be one of those thin "promotional" art books.

Perhaps cause it is limited like Mortal Kombat X Coarse Edition...
299USD is really overpriced

however i had expected that price seeing MGS V limited is 100 pounds and we are getting it for AUD 250

So the physical CE in North America is what? $130USD? Then they have to pay $40USD for shipping, or is that just Cananda? Let's say that's around $170USD. Our dollar is quite weak at the moment so that amounts to $220AUD. Let's say I'm going to import it via Australia Post's new platform, I'd still have to pay to ship it to their Oregon office then they'd probably charge me around $50-60AUD to get it into Australia (using the latest Kingdom Hearts HD Remaster CE as benchmark).

Australia is in the middle of nowhere, logistics are expensive, our dollar is weak, our government has some crazy import taxes and costs, and of course GST. At this point it doesn't seem too unreasonable, especially when supplied in limited quantities for whatever reason.

This. Do they get commission on pre-orders? The guy at my EB made it a point that I should put money down now if I didn't want to miss out on CE if it became available...
