Yeah, I'm guilty of continuing the arguments. But I did at least try to get back on topic a few times. Here, let's try again:

I personally think it's going to be hilarious watching groups of people in swimsuits desperately trying to train Bombs around the zones to the incinerators. I'm hoping it will be a group effort, kind of like fighting the huge bulls and the samurai for events in XI. I loved joining the massive groups of people running around Gustaberg trying to find the elusive samurais. And training the huge bulls to the city entrances so that when you die you can just run back outside and continue the relentless beating. Now that was some good hearted fun!

I hate how people generalize how mithra are played mostly by males. I think video games in general are played mostly by males, not just mithra. My girlfriend and I are both female players playing as miqo'te, and were both mithra on FFXI, and yes, we both hate being stereotyped as male players, because people cant get over the fact that females are indeed allowed to touch a video game controller. Let alone be able to wear a bikini without being called a slut, or be considered as slutty.

Maybe I should clarify... it is because of the catgirls's sex appeal that miqote are generally considered played by men. The stories of players being "burned" as it were, by male players' advances were numerous enough it went past drama and into hilarity.

Why is my stating that mithras are usually played by males (which you have already confirmed) pissing you off? I didn't say mithras can only be played by males. And I didnt say you where slutty for wearing the Bikini... i simply stated it was obvious what SEs strategy is with the new patch.. and it is to attract dudes (and women) who are attracted to skimpy bathing suits and dirty poses... mostly... attracted to... women with nice looking bodies who show them off with the touch of a little nasty pose on top. But I didnt say YOU had to wear the bikini and do the pose at the same time or either at all ever. BUT YOU CANNOT DENY THE POSE IS A DIRTY ONE. If your not attracted to women and you like the pose and the bikini for another reason congrats... And good for SE because their strategy has surpassed its audience in this case.

So again... you shouldn't be pissed that mithras are generally played by dudes... Because it dosnt mean you have to stop being one . Oh btw... In FFXI Mithras had set stats that you could only achieve by being a mithra therefore if you wanted those stats you had to be a mithra whether you where a male... female... hamster... monster truck tire.... So again.. they arent made for just females.. or just males.. but because males are notorious for liking chicks... and mithras have attractive stats... and Males likely dominate the gaming world.. thats just how it works... So GET OVER IT. and have fun in your new bikini

Sure the bikini's might attrack some guys, maybe not, but good for the game if it does bring in more people on such a frivolous reason. RL girls might also enjoy their character in a bikini, their are not indecent in themselves (the bikinis) and the character's are attractive enough not to be ashamed of showing off your body, so I don't see why most girls would object to those swimwear. Yes I do agree that the miqote pose is somewhat dirty, I can't deny that they look like poses you'd see in a beer commercial. I hope they add more poses (/pose 1, /pose 2, etc) since maybe not all miqote like to pose half-bent foward

Also, this goes the other way too, the males outfit can be considered sexy and attractive as well and it might attract girls and gay guys. Hell I know I love looking my sexy huyr in a tight swimwear. And honestly, I don't think it makes me or anyone else a pervert.

So it's all good I guess if it attracts more guys and girls even if it's through cosmestic tactics lol maybe they will stick around after the event.

@Greatleviathan: you keep calling people here kids and what not and saying that you have been playing since before we were born. Then later on you ask why we assume you are older than us? What are you playing at really? You either try to make yourself sound more mature and wise by calling people down or you just ran out of arguments.
