Has anyone looked up and noticed that the smaller moon that hangs around the bigger moon seems to have reddened?

Absolutely agree. Eorzean wheather/astrology events should affect the gameplay in some ways (also minor but 'visible').

Good catch! An NPC in a quest commented that the moon looks bigger now, it's pretty interesting!

I think some people (including myself) are speculating that it's 'Meteor' that Cid was talking about, probably getting closer. Possibly being summoned by the Garleans

I was on the boat ride between Thanalan and Limsa Lominsa when I looked up at the night sky and noticed a very bright red "star" in the sky I don't remember seeing.

This perfectly explains why.
