As I'm progressing carefully toward endgaming Lv40), there are just 2 main areas still untouched, what will be safest level for entering Mor Dhona and North Thanalan?

At the moment, I'm going to be clearing all Lv40+ Levequests, just like I did with Lv35+ earlier on. As well as that, I'll be opening up dungeons along the way and not stepping inside straigtaway, unless its a last resort to leveling up.

I think Outer La Noscea, Coerthas and Larkscall maybe suitable areas for leveling up between 40-50, unless someone can suggest somewhere else.

You'll be fine to enter now. You can start Fates in N than if you want, Usually lots of ppl there. Can get to 50.

Leveling with fates in northern at lv 45 is your best bet for exp. Sine you're 40, fates in cch mixed with dungeons is best until you hit 45

While i didn't notice the class, I still think dungeons only is a bit slow. I would suggest starting a pf for dzemael dark hold 1st room pulls once you hit lv 44. Nets you about50-75k exp per run, and it can take a max of 7 minutes. Is you don't understand what that means, best things is to look on YouTube or do the first with your fc

Oh, you can enter Moar Donuts at level 5 if you want to jog up right quick to pick up your swimsuit....

That being said, I guess you mean for FATEs? I like to go to MD/NT at level 43+ with a group to really rack in the exp. Get your chocobo out too so it can get exp and help save your bacon.

Dungeons, especially the Duty Roulette, are still the best source of exp. You want SV until you unlock DD, then DD until you unlock AV* (then your FC will QQ over having to go do first room clears with you)(unless they are leveling those last couple levels too).

If its your first job, you should just keep up with the main quest and do your daily roulette and you shouldn't need any other way to level up.
But if you like doing all the leves and stuff then suit yourself

A tip on how to level up your character from 49 to 50 really quickly, is to unlock all the "xx location mapping achievements" They will give you about 26k exp each and you need about 560k exp. Can be done within an hour and I believe its a lot quicker than doing leves or dungeons.
I have 3 level 50 characters and did that on my the 2nd and third one and it was amazing since Í hated that last level

I ran to mor Dhona at lvl 1 on my alt. I think she hit lvl 2 just from unlocking areas on the way XD

Grabbed the crystal and my swim suit, then went home and logged her out

As I've been lvling my tank, I can totally say that FATE lvling as a solo tank is just pure torture... unless its a mob FATE... PULL ALL THE THINGS :U!!!

Yeah my FC held a Low Level Race around Mor Dhona as part of our new house housewarming party. Had to be under level 10. No sprinting. Needless to say it was a breeze. >.>; (actually, I was the only one that died. xDDD )
