Square, can we have an OCE fanfest now?
The only thing I like about SE is literally this game, and the only reason it's good is because of Yoshida. They are a greedy corporation who only cares about making that cashswagmoneyflow*. I hope that the Final Fantasy IP is eventually bought off from Square. They just treat it like their own personal cow, milking the living crap out of it to get every penny that they can.
*A type of currency that is meant to be converted into double the amount that it is actually worth.

Yeah, I literally cant afford the Box edition now. I brought the 1.0 Box edition for around 140 new Zealand dollars which was very reasonable, but this is really really stupid. I don't think I'll bother playing any further.

Physical CE is not available in the AU store. We can only buy through an independent retailer. So like those in the UK we only have one option, and that is to not only pay the jacked up price, but to also pay the independent retailers mark up as well making it approximately £200/€270/$300.

I'm genuinely worried about what will happen to the game when/if Yoshida is moved to a different project.The only thing I like about SE is literally this game, and the only reason it's good is because of Yoshida. Actually, CAB informed the Trading Standards of SE's actions... who are now looking into the matter.
Yep, here is an excerpt of the email;
What we’ll do
We will inform Trading Standards of the trader's activities in this situation. Trading Standards can take into consideration such complaints when prioritizing their activities.
If you want to discuss this further please call us on 03454 04 05 06 or reply to this email.

^^ I have my UK CE preordered, but being as they're not taking payment until June, I'm hoping Trading Standards will pull them up and make them a) reduce the price or b) let us order in Euros to the UK before then.
More than likely I'll just have a very expensive box though :/
