When I'm not online, I still can have a conversation with my friends.
Some kind of messenger that SE can use, let say I'm offline then my friend want my assistance so they ping to my messenger like a other messenger, Whats App, Lime etc.

Exchange Skypes or something? Right now if SE put up some kind of chat function for players to keep in touch outside of the game, gil sellers would have $$$$$ in their eyes and it would be abused and we would be harassed even further by them.

You can chat to your FC through web chat, even you're not in game, that is what I mean.
Not all player into forums, and not all my friends are in same country.

Hmmm I could see this being useful. But as someone mentioned RMT. I'd limit RMT by simply making it possible to hookup to only FC or LS chats. No tells, shouts, yells(doesn't make sense since you are not in any zone).

I wouldn't mind it.

FC/LS chat is all you really need for out-of-game stuff, plus it avoids the issue of not having an actual in-game location that you need to be associated with. In games that have it, it's a great way to stay in touch with people in your guild when you can't log in for whatever reason.

You can always form a whatsapp group with your freecompany, Linkshell and friends. I used to do that alot with another mmorpg last year and with a limit up to 50 people in one group, you can make 3 different groups and be able to chat with them outside FFXIV.

I am guessing the other people don't want to give their info. A lot people are giving good ideas of how to keep in touch with your FC. I don't how, forgot the program, but a guild member is able to talk to us on the FC chat and he is not even in game.
