Poetics cap from 2.5 pt2~3.0. Will it be removed?

This has been confirmed to be coming with Alexander two weeks after Heavensward is released.

Also, considering Poetics gear was made for LEVEL 50, you can also safely assume that they will become obsolete VERY FAST when the expansion comes out, and you can expect to get at least some i140+ gear before you even reach Level 60!

Doubt that. i130 and i135 gear should be good until endgame with i140 and i150 gear coming with Alexander 2 weeks after the game is released.

And then the forum is filled with "FCoB is too hard" threads because players unable to do it don't have an unlimited i130 source. Nerfing FCoB before expansion would also be an insult to FCob players when there is no replacement given in return.

echos was said to arrive later in BC3, you know it? in the patch between the part 2 and the expansion. the poetic don't give i130 gears, but i120, what give you the i130 is the weekly quest. if you take out the cap of poetic and leave the weekly as it is.... you will not impact at which pace the people will get i130 since it will always be 1 item per week. but in other hand, it will offer the choice of what people can use as gear, either poetic or WoD, giving them more option for try to beat BC3 before the expansion.

They said the jumps in ilvl will be bigger with the expansion and each patch so i wouldnt doubt it if we seen i160/170 gear from NM/HM of alexander. Cause 130 gear will prolly become the new darklight in 3.0, better than dungeon drops but not good as new tomestone gear, so a 20-30 ilvl jump wouldnt be crazy

If you can farm FCoB when it's put on DF, you have an unlimited i130 source, not just a weekly one.

I would like to get a source (reliable) for Echo in FCoB, I have heard two versions of Echo stuff now, Echo in FCoB or Echo increase in SCoB, and I haven't seen a source for either.

Since they are making Final Coil unlimited farm, they really should un-cap Poetics at the same time.

not everyone do BC3, then it's ok for now, but anyway, taking out the WoD limitation and leaving the cap on the poetic is idiot, since the two give the same ilevel gears.

There are several sources for gear and nothing to do until 3.0 but farm your brains out and prep - unlocking Poetics, WoD drops, and Final Coil should probably be a matter of course.

I don't think they'll remove the caps. As already stated, FCOB is not in farm-mode for all the player base, so...

Poetics uncapped only means that it's free i120 gear, which you can get from WoD regardless. You still need to either do the weekly CT quest or clear a FCoB turn to get Twine/Coat/Tome. No real reason to not uncap Poetics unless they expect everyone to no life hunts to the absolute extreme.

e: Also I doubt we'll see Echo on FCoB on the unlock but a few weeks later we probably will, when it's put into actual DF.

The incentive of not Uncapping Tomes and Uncapping Gear Locks on WoD and Coils would be to get more players prepared for and trying to clear coils before 3.0. I hope that is their aim because if not it's going to be a long 3 months.
