The sad thing is they more than likely did better in the dungeon than 90% of the people who run AV. I hate AV.

Yeah meanwhile I have started this game up 3 months, somewhat faithfully playing againPlease report them using the ingame report function.
Bots do exist and they do in fact go into DF.
Writing about it on the forums won't really do much.
When you write a report try to be as detailed as possible including date, time, timezone, server data center you're on, what duty you entered, and the characters' names. Then you can pretty much copy what you wrote here to explain what happened.
and the same person I had blocked in Balmung is STILL HERE.
I have 6 on BL's all I reported and lo and behold they live another day. I just don't like playing
Bot police when there is a cult of BLM's about to perform a seance for weeks. They has the magic's
and summoning skills to ignore these bans. It's creepy dammit lol.
Yeah they are on my server. I constantly see groups of DOZENS of stacked black mage bots who are in duty finder. You know they're bots cuz they are stacked on top of each other, facing the same way and wearing the same exact gear and are the same exact level. It may be SEs job to deal with this issue HOWEVER... the fact that RMT spamming and botting have escalated to these extreme levels is actually because FFXIV has a very large population of players buying gil. I know a friend who bought large amounts of gil twice and I'm still struggling with whether or not to report my own friend... I told him to stop doing it and he did it again and I'm just so angry at him.
Now my server Behemoth is like the F****** hive of the RMT zerg swarm.
Would be a good idea except there's literally too many it would become an all day job to report the /tells I get and the bots I see standing around. I'm on FFXIV to play a game, not dedicate my days being a bot / RMT police officer. If it was just the occasional one here and there sure but no... especially not when it's this annoying and time consuming to report them.
I remember reporting a bot in highlands just standing in one spot with /busy on shooting the same targets over and over again not moving location. My report wasn't even replied back to and it just was deleted from the report log you get in the support center? Wtf?

Again, tell that to all of use who have reported the groups on balmung over the last year. I know since I started playing and first reported them, till now. I personally have reported them... At least a good 30-40 times, before I got tired of dealing with it and just said screw it. And you figure.. Of even 10 of us reported them 10 times each that's 100 reports. And I would bet they have been reported THOUSANDS of times and still sit there, doing there thing.
And you figure there are multiple groups. There's the thm groups that sit by sastasha, the larger groups in gridania (in multiple areas) and the few in uldah, though I seem to see less in uldah than other places. Maybe that's just me.
No, they won't. I, a friend of mine, and yet another friend of mine reported the same bot over the course of a couple months. Yet another couple months later, said bot is still playing. And that's only the reports I actually know of, I'm sure other people have reported the same bot as well, considering it's been around over half a year at this point.
Report away. He decided to ignore your first warning - you gave him more chances than he deserved. Besides, I doubt reporting him would actually lead to any action being taken.
