@Reinfeld - No, the Euro is €, like, an E. Pounds Sterling is £, one line through the middle rather than two, and of course the dollar is $. Currently, £130 is $193.

In context, the US Physical CE is $130, Digital is $60, which means a US player could purchase the Physical version AND the Digital for $190, cheaper than the UK are being charged for the CE alone.

Ah yeah, there we go. I thought the OP was just being a drama-queen. That is pretty steep.

I haven't been able to see if anyone made a comment towards it but... I've mentioned that when Sony released the playstation Vita that the item was listed as $249 and £249. When the price reduced, it was to $199 and £199. I'm not sure if there was a different Euro price but Sony didn't change that price model but I don't think that SE will on this.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's pretty crappy but it sounds like there's precedence in some part of the video game market where this happens.

I think people dont comment because not many people even own a vita so they ignore it. You dont see it happen often when it does they get a horrible backlash.

Except Sony did change since PS4 was £349 for $399 and €399.

And, don't forget the problem is ONLY for physical CE. Every other price is correct.

I don't remember the price for ARR CE.
But HW Digital CE is £44.99, so it's not a "general price model" even now.

Therefore, we are paying £42.05 more for the Collector's edition. Is this a mistake? Are UK buyer's being offered something extra for £42.05 or is it pure greed?

Honestly maybe you need to re-evaluate your knowledge of the Euro it's been going through some issues lately.

If it shows the graph next to the conversion you will notice that yes while Back in January 2014 it was worth around 1.4 to the 1 american dollar it's taken a nose dive since then and has dipped quite a bit since this year.

So be quick to call SE "Greedy" if you want but when XIV came out last year the Euro was strong at least stronger than it is now, but since it's grown weaker yes the price is adapting to the weaker Euro.

One of these things is Euro. One of them is Pounds. One of them is Dollars.
