I'm using ballad during the Bennu phase to keep our healers' MP at full for more Cure III potential, otherwise, no I don't use songs until that phase usually.
And what do you mean by floating with AoE?

I always foe at p3. Our blm triple flares. Are you sure the whm needs mp in p3? Ours definitely doesn't, even with solo healing p1 to let the sch dps. I do ballad in p4 tho, if he needs it.
