are you sure you know the price tags for SE figurines ? ($30-40 for "mini" figurines. Some sell for way more than $100, and aren't that much larger than the dragon)



production/shipping/taxes (well, there are taxes on digital products too so...) aren't what make the price of a video game.

Please point me to a figure that small that cost $100 by square-enix.

There are currently $30 figures on the store right now that are following the line of the other various chibi art style. Then there are the $40 super hero figurines, which the liscensing fee to produce those alone is enough explanation.

Anyway, all I am saying is giving it a $20 msrp on the statue is a good estimate, and that may even be too much.

prices are fine. This is normal. Its cheap entertainment that will last a long time too.

I can easily spend over 100 bucks taking someone out to dinner. I think the issue lies that people believe just because they pay a monthly fee they are entitled to everything. While i may not be referring to the OP- this is the mentality of alot of ppl. I for one am more than happy to pay the cost of expansion.

39 is normal price, no one is forcing you to buy collectors edition.

Also they could easily stop adding normal updates and then just release 2.0 - 2.55 and name it an expansion and charge us 40 bucks for it, so please stop crying when the pricing for basic expansion is reasonable and on par with other MMOs.

You can play even on 100 computers, that doesn't matter. What matters is the number of accounts. If you play on 2 computers with one account, you need one copy of Heavensward.

Is it just me or is the expansion for heavenwards way overpriced! I mean really 39.99 for retail and 59.99 for digital and 129.99 for box set, man heavenward is priced as a completely brand new game. Mind you I already pay for sub. Scale that way back square enix, unless you completely redone ff14 again like you did with 1.0 I'm def not getting this at launch.

Contents are going to be double and triple. $39.99 USD is still consider good price compare to the previous MMO I've played they charge for $49.99.

the NA store has nothing I could see without licensing rights, so I went on mine (EU store) :

these are a bit taller because human shaped, but the quality should be around the same. And they're from 60 to 80 euros. (not $100 because not licensing problem, but still way more than $30)

you need 1 copy per account AND per platform.

So yeah you'll need 2 copies for your wife and yourself.

And you'd need an other one if you had a PS4 linked to either of your accounts, and a 4th copy if both accounts were linked to the PS4, etc etc...
