After I read the following posts of the OP.. I don't think that's the actual question they have.
They want to have clarification between the phone reps and community managers seemingly opposite statements. So they can avoid spending money on a physical CE that the SE reps claim can be redeemed. As the commun. managers are saying no, it cannot be redeemed unless the the steam version is purchased.

Must I repeat myself multiple times?
I've seen every post on this, I dont need relinks i need a new confirmation >.>
Since this directly involves SE reliability, I hope we get true confirmation soon.
This is the best way to phrase the current question ;DAfter I read the following posts of the OP.. I don't think that's the actual question they have.

@OP; I hope that a community manager answers your question so that you may have the clarification that is being seeked.![]()
So a PC expansion bought from a store will not be compatible? If so then does that meant there's no way a steam user can buy the awesomelicious physical CE and play on steam? Why not just give an option to trade in your CE key for a steam key?

The difficulties in getting all these different versions of the same game to act in the same way is mind-boggling. Maybe I'm getting old, but I miss the days when you bought a game and it JUST WORKED.
You know ... back when umm ... Yeah okay, games never really worked that way, but this is kinda ridiculous all the same.

Essentially, yes. According to the Community Manager, the physical CE will NOT be compatible with Steam. In addition, there seems to be no way that a Steam user can purchase a physical CE anyways, leaving us out of the loop on the dragon, artbook, and blu-ray.
I just want to know if I can acquire a physical CE for Steam in the near future so I can get some of these items. The trade-key system would be a great way to solve this IMO.
