Since you're referring to the Hildibrand quests in "seasons," it would be season 2 which just concluded. There were Hildibrand quests in 1.0.

Naw, 1.X's Hildy story was the TV movie pilot. The 2.X quests were the first full season.

Whenever I read their lines, I always imagined Hildebrand as J Michael Tatum and Nashu as Caitlin Glass (Isaac and Miria from Baccano!). It fit really well.

Very happy about this! Hildibrand is always the highlight of any new patch just down to how he lightens up the mood of an otherwise fairly serious story. I dont think he needs any voice work, his facial expressions say all we need to know.

Now if only we know the planned release time. Though my best guess is 3.1 Update since they're focusing on finalizing 3.0 now so it is most likely too late to have Hildibrand Season 2 be part of 3.0.

I LOVE the Hildebrand story line! Please for the love of the Gods make more of it. After seeing Hildy's mom and dad in action I want to battle them! Also more Gilgamesh and or other legendary FF chars would be cool.

I loved the Hidibrand Quest and I'm Glad someone else calls it season 1
And for me this was a good way to take a break from the main story
