I think perhaps everyone should just go and wait for it to appear on Amazon... it will appear on that site within a matter of days or weeks. Order it then w/o the hassle. It is not an SE store exclusive. And don't worry about it selling out. You can still get the full 2.0 Launch CE thru Amazon.

Honestly I think you would have to be an idiot to reward SE by using their when better alternatives exist. Especially after the hassle of today.

While we cannot give an estimate on when the EU Square Enix Store/Boutique will become available, please be aware that it will not be going live today.

This sounds to me like we can get a safe nights sleep in the EU before we can actually order them. (Which tbh i don't really mind right now. Not like it goes live tomorrow and i can use the sleep after today haha).

I'm really getting pissed at SE now... See all my NA friends on twitter saying they have it pre-ordered while EU is still sitting in a corner waiting...

The EU store seems to have the right idea: shut down the store, actually fix it so that it works under load, and then let people know (with sufficient advance warning) the time that they can sign on and actually order the thing quickly without stress or uncertainty of waiting in a potentially endless DF queue.

NA store was like "well.... it's not actually completely dead.... so let's let it keep limping along."

First off, I know the pricing has nothing to do with you but...

Can you get them to sort the UK physical CE price out please? Or atleast pass the feedback from the relevent threads to let them know how annoyed all of us in the UK are at this blatant rip off.

You forgot to leave out the part of us not getting information about them postponing until like 11 or 12 hours later. Which I'd say is even worse than shutting it down or leaving it up in a limping state. We do like our information as buyers of their products.
