But... It isn't done this way normally. Sure some company or another does it. That doesn't mean it's standard. After looking around on this forum it is beyond not standard for them and people in the UK and EU don't have the mindset of it being deemed affordable either. A country's economy doesn't mean any one person can afford a game more easily than someone else in another country.

This is very common, if you look at the price differences in the actual PS4 itself, you'd notice the same thing. The reasons come down to 1 main point: Taxes. Does anyone know if the PSN store will have the pre-orders up and running today for us PS3/4 players who just want the digital CE/Standard? Or do we have to wait until tomorrow/Wednesday when the store officially updates?

It's not really conversion, but value. SE isn't the only game company that sells this way to EU. Perfect World does this also. If a game to us costs $40 USD, their EU customers pay 40 Euro. They keep the numbers the same and ignore the currency rating. I think it's partly because EU customers can afford a lot more than we can, because their economy is like 50 times better than America.

Hahahaha... Germany is not all of EU. Here in Italy the economy has been tanking down for the past 20 years...

And the fun thing is that our news say the US are flourishing instead. I guess the NA news do the same in our regards.

Been checking Amazon for Digital CE. They have the standard digital, but make no mention of pre-order bonus so ill be waiting. SE store was confusing when buying from them before.

US is flourishing economically. Stock market is at record high and unemployment at like 5% or something like that last I saw. Not sure where anyone is hearing different. Fox News probably... /shrug
