    Where/How to Pre-Order Heavensward

Hi everyone. I can't seem to find a link on the FFXIV site to pre-order Heavensward. I did a search for the SE store on Yahoo and was able to locate it but no Heavensward there either. Amazon seems to be selling only Windows versions and says nothing about early access. Did I just imagine that we would be able to pre-order today and get early access?

Several hours more to wait for NA. But they screwed up EU terribly so...watch closely.

If you would've read the other dozen threads on this forum about this, you'd know there are issues with Square Enix's website. Pre-orders won't be available until around 11:00 A.M. PST, supposedly. T_T We're all anxious!!

Screwed up EU site-wise and price-wise apparently. That conversion rate I'm reading about is insane. They're having to pay almost $200 for the CE. I'm waiting to see what the item description says on NA store but... I really don't know if I'll order it.

It's not really conversion, but value. SE isn't the only game company that sells this way to EU. Perfect World does this also. If a game to us costs $40 USD, their EU customers pay 40 Euro. They keep the numbers the same and ignore the currency rating. I think it's partly because EU customers can afford a lot more than we can, because their economy is like 50 times better than America.

Does anyone know for sure whether the digital CE for Windows will be a Square-Enix Store exclusive, or will it be available anywhere?

Also, has Square clarified whether those of us who play on multiple platforms (PC and PS3 in my case) will need to buy only one copy of Heavensward, or one for each platform? Thanks.

I play on both Windows and PS4. What do I need to purchase?
You will need to purchase both the Windows and PS4 versions of the expansion to play the new content on both platforms. If you would like the exclusive bonus items from the Collector's Edition, you can get them with either the Windows or PS4 version as they will be linked to a single service account. Heavensward must be installed on the client to access the areas that will be added in Heavensward. If you are planning to log back in on a client that doesn't have Heavensward installed, make sure to log out in an FFXIV: ARR area.

But... It isn't done this way normally. Sure some company or another does it. That doesn't mean it's standard. After looking around on this forum it is beyond not standard for them and people in the UK and EU don't have the mindset of it being deemed affordable either. A country's economy doesn't mean any one person can afford a game more easily than someone else in another country.
