Firstly $129.99 is base line price - this does not include tax and some states charge 7% which would the equivalent to $139.09 now todays rate is £1=$1.49 which would then be the equivalent to £93.88.
Now obviously we don't pay american tax so take $129.99 which equals to £87.73 then add 20% VAT which would then equal £105.28.

However then we run into a little known problem called the EU. They want to regulate everything and if you want to sell video games within any EU country you need to pay to have a product evaluated and age rated etc and unfortunately these costs are passed down to the consumer. It is something we have to deal with

It was roughly £90 estimated, £100 at most including VAT. The British pounds get screwed over since the European euros have it for 129.99 euros, which equals roughly £92-£93 rounding up. Anything above £100 is a big **** you to UK customers. The EU currency isn't getting fecked over, neither should the UK currency.

Why does every other developer/producer set their prices correctly according to region then?

Go check steam/amazon etc and you will see that the prices aren't numerically the same across all the regions. The UK price is normally about 3/4 of the price of the US cost.

If this isn't an honest mistake (which I hope is the case) then this is just an attempt to grab more money from customers by SE.

Sooo how do all other games manage to do all this without marking the price up by an extra $60? you just seem to hate on the EU without all the facts, a few examples from Gamestop (they have a UK and US site so it's perfect) Type-0 HD on PS4 US $59.99 UK £39.97 Bloodborne $59.99 and £44.97 FFX/X-2 $49.99 £39.97 FFXIV ARR $29.99 and £20.97 the only PC like for like of relevance was Diablo 3 $39.99 and £24.47.

Also, the digital version is the same but there isn't even the cost of cross border issues or shipping issues to contend with on that so as before, if this isn't an honest mistake SE are really trying to rip off their customers.

All we know is when the site was up this morning it was showing £129.99. Nobody was able to order at that point and shortly after they took the site down. We have had no updates since.

Same, I've yet to sleep and was planning to stay awake until I've confirmed my order at 7am. It's almost 10am now, with no ETA on when pre-orders will be available. If I sleep now, I fear I'll wake up to find them all sold out.

Except buying via SE store their quanties aren't limited. When you preorder you put yourself in a queue of sorts for the item. That means you are going to be given the item however when it arrives is subject to shipping. I hate that you guys are getting shafted but you also have to consider that people are setting this up.Mistakes will inevitably occur. Buy it tomorrow.

Thank you very much . I'm just a bit shocked because. Final fantasy type 0 from Amazon.Com and Amazon.UK are correctly price according to their foreign exchange as it should be and so on EVERY SINGLE video game in their websites. Hoping that this is a terrible mistake from them
