Thinking of spending 130GBP on CE?

I have been up all night waiting for the pre-orders to begin, of course the site failed so that wasn't possible. Due to that I've had time to reconsider and have decided that I don't like to be screwed over by price gouging, especially when the other European countries get it for almost £40 cheaper as they're able to pay in Euro.

When the sites come online I'll try to order from one of the European sites in Euro. If I can't, due to SE restrictions, I will wait and get the digital CE from the UK store. I will also contact my MEPs to ask for an investigation into unfair trading practices whereby an EU citizen is unable to use the common market. Yes, I'm serious.

If it comes to it I think this will be required, the EU and EEC have the power to pass laws forcing companies to offer fair prices for a product based on values overseas, you cannot justify an almost £60 price difference through fees and taxes.

Skyrim came with a very similar CE bundle with art and whatnot at about the same price, but the dragon statue that came with that was significantly bigger (probably about 10x looking at images of both...). The statues don't interest me, so while I like physically owning games I'll almost certainly have to pass this one and go digital.

I have the Skyrim CE. If unboxing video of HW is any indicator then you are very correct. Box itself was 4 or 5 times that size at least. The Alduin statue is huge compared to that thing, and not that comfortable to try holding in one hand from size as well as weight factor. When I gotSkyrim CE the statue took up almost the entire box with artbook and game packed right inside the top. Said artbook is around 300 pages long, not a promotional book. I got THAT bundle for $140.

SE seriously dropped the ball to have that kind of price hike when the 2.0 CE was $80 to begin with. I don't rightly know if I'll order at all yet
