It appears to be nothing more than an obvious site error, which you could confirm elsewhere by just seeing that there doesn't exist any product on their store where $ = £. People need to calm down and wait for the site, and probably price, to get fixed and put back up, since nobody can confirm anything with the site undergoing maintenance.

People have a right to voice their concerns, There's no guarantee that it was an 'error' or that they'll adjust the price from the feedback they are receiving now, but if we don't give them any feedback, they don't have anything to go on assuming it wasn't an error at all.

It's not shoot first ask later. I was there at 6:45~ when the products started going up, with the CE priced at £129.99. The site was unstable until about 8:30 when they took it down for maintenance. During that time it was possible to reach the product page and click "Pre-Order" upon which you would be greeted with a message saying your Basket was empty. It seems the took the site down to fix this issue, as no one was able to complete their order. You seem to have concocted this myth that they took it down because the price was wrong.

Actually we do have something to go on since the price was on the actual site and we are leaving feedback in relation to that. You have actually nothing to go on yourself since you can merely speculate about it being an error. The price was there, the site is messed up since this morning, there's nothing saying the price was inaccurate.

But you couldn't actually buy it. That doesn't mean anything then. You can't really say anything about it until it is actually purchasable, because any number of problems could be interconnected.

Of course it means something when the price is stated. How can you even say that it doesn't? You could add the item to your basket, the basket page itself was an issue, but you could add the product which makes it purchasable.

Whatever the case, I'm not going to passively accept these overly inflated prices and would hope other UK fans would join me in getting our voices heard. I've shared this topic on various other gaming forums and would appreciate if others could share with any friends who play FFXIV.

Uh. The site was up for a good 60-90 minutes, we all saw the prices. £130. €130. It got taken down because the site was broken, even if you got the page to load you couldn't add anything to your cart.
