Not really, since I got shafted out of a daily Alex map because I can't stay awake long enough for the maintenance to be over, and the reset for it happens before I can get on again. My problem still exists, and I end up a day behind where I want to be.
Well, beginning the maintenance at say 3am est would be much better for most NA players. It would make the maintenance mostly be during the slowest time for both coasts. And it would help if they did it on days when people are at work.
If they're doing maintenances exclusively on the NA servers, they should tailor it exclusively to NA players' most convenient times and days IMO.
Care to share your source for this information?
Me and about 5,000 other employees who work in airport transportation.(That includes only one airport) Times that about every airport or shipping dock in the US. Which is one of the highest paying jobs. Plus Night shift stockings in any major retail stores, also warehouse transit, also, any communal transportation within the US. There are more people out there who dont live this "prime time schedule" also known as tax payers![]()

As true as that may be, everyone still has different playing hours but I do see your point. Sadly not everything is black and white, this could actually be to fix something that could later have became a serious issue in the servers then resulting in more time loss.Well, beginning the maintenance at say 3am est would be much better for most NA players. Just saying what it could be at least. There's a lot of possibility when it comes to servers and coding. Least I'd like to think there's a lot that can go wrong, so I'd really rather have them tweak whatever they need to.
If you read my edit though you will notice that SE did post about the log-in issue and hopefully the issues will be fixed. ^^

Yes, they should definitely fix something if there's a problem. As I said before though, this has been planned as it's been on the lodestone for days, so either it wasn't an urgent problem or they just chose a bad time and day. It points to deeper problems with the staff as well if they really need to do so many maintenances that take so long.
And I did! Thanks for that link. This seems to be them acknowledging something went wrong with what they intended to happen in the process of this maintenance, so maybe they'll have it fixed soon.
I hit my post limit so I won't be posting anymore for now, but:Thanks you just proved more people work weekends to nights, win win for me. Hence we are on a weekend, so people working now are not effected.....js...kinda back fired.
"Not only do Americans work longer hours, though, but we also work worse ones. As you can see above, more of us are on the clock during nights and weekends than anyone across the pond."
Thanks for proving right.
Ill dissect the word you use "small sample" to "anyone else across the pond" if you need help knowing = or grater to.
Actually take another look: The percentages are of different countries and of the total population of workers. 29.2% of americans work weekends, 26.6% of them work nights, etc. So no, I proved you wrong. You're welcome though O.o
"Not only do Americans work longer hours, though, but we also work worse ones. As you can see above, more of us are on the clock during nights and weekends than anyone across the pond." is simply saying more Americans work on weekends and nights than people do in other countries, not that most of us do. Read again.
And chill, there's no need to start insulting me. These are the official forums though...so what can one expect.

I was thinking on how to explain that in my head, and you did a dang good job. Most adults work weekends, primetime is like young teens and college students, primary percentage show adults play more during the mid week then weekends.
This mon-fri 9-5 job existed before 2000, its a dif ball game in the work world now.If you read the percentages, a vast majority of people work weekdays and daytime hours...Thanks you just proved more people work weekends to nights, win win for me. Hence we are on a weekend, so people working now are not effected.....js...kinda back fired.

You understand its weekend to night hours, and in no way does it show "week" percentage...right..? I just want you to make sure you know how to read..
Lets quote the ending k?
"Weekends are a luxury the bottom 30 percent can't afford."
Soooo unless your telling me the other 70% are on teens and college kids, or rich people who just sit in on the weekends....you know more under impoverished people play games then the rich...

I don't think you're comprehending the data or the article at all. But anyway, we're off-topic.You understand its weekend to night hours, and in no way does it show "week" percentage...right..? I just want you to make sure you know how to read..

Has anyone been able to get back on yet? It's saying I'm in a queue of 1 and just refreshes to that over and over for like 15mins now.
I got that, restarted client and I'm on.
