Its really annoying!
Kills the fun being the real dps class totaly!
I didnt worked for my gears so a healer shows up and spamming holys and letting dps classes look stupid and useless!
Whenever I have a "healer" like that, I dont dodge Zoned atks at all to force me healing! >:'P

I hope a certain patch makes the skill "Cleric stance" in dungeons useless - locked. >_>

In this topic we hate people who are good and play their job properly and wish they were dragged down to our level.

As a SCH.
In a boss for example, I dot, virus, dot and maybe cast a few more dots. SS and Adlo is up for me to pop a few in.
Trash: Shadow flare & Mia II.
Then of course, heal when I need to.

I hate non-singing bards...hate it.
People who wants speed runs in DF and don't ask healer if they can handle it then get pissy if they can't.

I've had 3 situations with bad healer who mostly DPS and only healed when we asked.

Very odd. I've never come across a healer that didn't heal unless I asked.

Healers don't always need to keep everyone's HP at 100% all the time in dungeons. It only matters if a boss is about to use a tank buster or there is some sort of mechanic that requires your party to be topped off.

For example, during a trash pull or some bosses with trash, a WHM can spam holy then bene the tank when he's low(20%-ish).

tl;dr As long as a healer knows how to keep everyone alive and DPS, the fact that your health gets low sometimes doesn't matter.

What I hate the most is the arrogance of tanks in DF. 80% of the ones I get in DF immediately go into Speed Run mode and pull everything they can. They never ask the other party members is they are ok with it or are capable of really doing it. When the party wipes it's almost never their fault. This is especially true if 1 of the members has never completed the dungeon before.

As a healer and knowing the dungeon well enough I will let the tank get pretty low when spamming holy but I do have benediction ready to fire. Another thing to think about when it comes to the DPS needing to much healing is some of that is on them to move and dodge things. I've been in groups where the tank takes less damage than the DPS and the DPS should rarely need healing depending on the fight.
