I get an, "Ew" from the tank and a disagree emote from the archer, who then casts Protect. So really, saying anything was a waste of time.

...and if the archer could cast Protect, why didn't they just do so when they noticed it wasn't coming from you in the first few seconds? O.o Without arguing? Grats on the card though =D

(I'd probably just have said "sorry, don't have access to it right now; anyone else have it?" but that's me. I also tend to do low roulette when levelling as the class (only have archer and lancer left now o.o), just so I can cast protect if I end up with a scholar in one of the first couple of dungeons, before you can have two crossclass skills.)

It's a 5 second mechanic where everyone is supposed to stand still.

Oh yeah, I really dislike those 'don't move/attack during this' effects. Or those periods of 'boss reflects all damage right now'. Not for the effect, but because there's always that dps who kills themself by continuing to attack -_- Honestly, those people in ST who go back to attacking Glossy Lalaboys right after their mechabot is down but the other two are still up... (Not that said boss ever seems to get to that part these days, but... XD)

I mentioned to the whm to maybe avoid medica 2/regen on pull for the rest of the run and she agreed with me.. Heh.

Well, at least she agreed with you ^^; I've been in dungeons where the healer kept casting regen or medica 2, and when I pointed out that it's not the smartest move, since that'll draw insta-aggro, they've gone "what? why? D:" *headdesk* And I've had to explain that healing draws aggro just the same as damage does, except on ALL mobs involved in combat.
