Cid kind of looks like Thor with white hair to me. And no one doubts Chris Hemsworth's masculinity....
I'm still trying to figure out why I can't find any shoes that aren't hooker boots.
LOL. A simple pair of heels would be nice, nothing too flashy, just dye-able pumps with a modest heel.
And now, rplying to other points made elsewhere by other posters...
Regarding Cid's hair, does anyone even remember Hercules? He had flowing locks of hair, many mythical/legendary heroes do.

I don't know, I guess I always just chalked it up to "Fantasy" hair styles. yeah IRL we tend to keep our hair very plain for utilitarian reasons, but in a virtual world there's no such thing as upkeep.
I suppose I'm just used to it from the games I've been exposed to...
But Re: Skirts. Historically those were a very manly garment (Seriously. Roman soldiers, togas, and many many others). 'Robe'-esque clothing is still not all that uncommon in a number of desert regions today. So it doesn't seem all that out of place in a fantasy game to me...
I know you said you didn't read the entire thread, but, you have to remember, that your view on the game is skewed by your country and culture, I would assume most males who find the game feminine are Americans, while many Europeans might not view it as badly. I'm not saying Americans can't view it as not feminine, and Europeans as feminine. Just a more general concensus.I haven't read the whole thread and I know I'm going to gain some hate, but I always thought Final Fantasy in General was effeminate. The way the male characters look and all the clothes just scream girly. I use to watch my friends (1 male, 2 females) play Final Fantasy IX and even then, when I didn't know any better, use to call it "Gay" for the girly nature of the characters. Fast forward to now and me playing this game, I realize how correct I was. Look at how womanly Alphinaud, Cid, Thancred, that guy from Ishgard from the last patch whose name I forgot. All very girly looking men. When I got Snow's trench coat, I was like "Why all the chest showing and necklaces?!" And look at the men's hairstyle. Hardly any of it looks manly. The earrings and necklaces we were forced to wear before we could glamour them. The term "Glamour!" Also, just look at all the LGBT threads here. This game couldn't attract more Gay dudes and females if it tried! So to answer your question, Yes Final Fantasy is VERY feminine! And while feminine as this game may be, I still enjoy it.
Okay not to sound mean but this post should either be changed or deleted, as it could be perceived as hurtful to players.

I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.
Ehhhm... I disagree with him too, but he's just being bluntly honest with his opinion. He didn't flame me nor anyone else in this thread. If mods were that quick to censor posts we couldn't post anything without running it past a PR person first.
