Why exactly do you think that a video, titled "A Tour of the North", shown several months before release, is all encompassing? Going to be a slow couple of months if they've just shown us everything.

You're welcome to call it in June, but I recall mention of more Beast Tribe zones coming with Heavensward, and I wouldn't expect to see Paglth'an Grasslands here given the videos title.

Coerthas Western Highlands was one of those regions found in the files, along with West Shroud which is NOT in that trailer. Declaring that you 'called it' based on a teaser is a bit premature, especially when we already know there's more than that...
Isn't it already also confirmed someplace that there is a Coerthas Central Lowlands? A zone i would assume connects from the lower part of Ishguard, whereas the central highlands connect to the upper part of the city.

To be fair, everything in 3.0 can be considered "the North" as we are going to the northern parts of Eorzea. The "7 but 6 if you count Ishgard as one zone" observation is wrong by the way. The video showed 7 zones, and none of them were in the Holy See proper.
We need a list of confirmed zones somewhere.

My favourite is the new Coerthas area, it gives off similar vibes to the Snowcloak dungeon which I really enjoyed and I love snowy areas....in game at least, looks like the first city shown will be new hub ...maybe.

Parties actually doing things in the open world like what was shown off in the walk-through needs to be a thing.

I was just about to edit my post to say something like this. I am really hoping that we shift away from the soloing culture that we've been used to in levelling from 1-50 on the landscape...I really liked seeing people co-operating with each other in the video >.<

We have a list of confirmed zones. From the video.

    Ishgard - Foundation.
    Ishgard - The Pillars.
    Coerthas Western Highlands.
    Dravanian Forelands.
    Dravanian Hinterlands.
    The Churning Mist.
    The Sea of Clouds.

Unconfirmed would be regions like Paglth'an, Xelphatol, and O'Ghomoro as expansions of existing areas for Beast Tribe centric zones (which I believe were mentioned as being added in Heavensward, though hell if I'm gonna go dig up the citation). O'Ghomoro especially is long overdue. I look at the concept map for Outer La Noscea, see "Zone to Volcano zone", pass by that spot (where the Puk FATE is you can see the path and blocked off zoneway) and always moan that it hasn't been added yet.

I suppose there are also zones like the rest of Coerthas (Central/Eastern/Western Lowlands, Eastern Highlands), though some of them I doubt will ever be seen, as we currently skip over them (most of the Lowlands should be between the current zones, though Eastern Lowlands could still be beyond Griffins Crossing). Western Shroud as well, though I'm doubting that's a place anymore, since we also skip over that.

Dungeons also haven't been touched on in the slightest, and they've said not three or four, but a lot of those. Doubt people count them as zones, but unless Heavensward offers some (much needed and long overdue) open world content, we're likely to spend more time in those dungeons than the other zones, so whatever.

Hmm, I'm sure Coerthas will be larger. Having only a central and a Western Highland would be stupid. Oddly enough I always understood beast tribe zones as zones for the new beast tribes, but getting the old ones some love makes sense. Well I for one hope we get the Western Shroud back, even as a desolate wasteland. It's just stupid that the North Shroud exit shows a large expanse of grey hills and when you cross you instantly warp to a snow covered highland.
It was also mentioned that we will get to see the Chocobo Forest. You think it will be its own zone or a part of a larger area?

I also hope that they put in the other zones of Coerthas. If not with 3.0, then with 4.0. At least with Sea of Cloud (the big cloudy abyss behind Ishgard) it get a zone that wasn't even in 1.0.

how the old Coerthas was divided in 1.0
