WHMs spamming Holy at MBs / Cities / crafters

Maybe when I was 4. If someone saw me doing that, they would probably call the cops and be like " yeah we got some lunatic running around over here waving a bright light yelling "yaaaaaaaaaay", he must be on something". Cops "officer will be there soon sir".

And that's the exact reason why we play games. If I wanted to be constricted by social pressure to "behave my age", I'd be outside in the garden.

This exactly. Anyways combat abilities are not needed here outside of obvious trolling.

Craft/Gathering abilities are disabled in dungeons so having combat abilities disabled in cities is not a non sense imho.

I do it just because I think Holy looks pretty... With that said, I only use Holy like 2 or 3 times before I stop.

You can play games for a LOT of fun stuff, contentss, goals, interactions outside of spamming others. I mean if you re not 12 y/o you prolly noticed this already.

Keep in mind that what looks pretty for you could be lame noise for others

If you refuse to even tone down your effects ( I turn mine off if they're not in my party ): You either:

1) Need thicker skin.
2) Move to a different area.
3) Learn to have patience.


Don't be dense. You can't really expect everything in the game to be catered to you.

We? May include yourself but we may play games for all different reasons. I don't do it to act like a 4 year old, those times have passed. If that is why you play, then that is perfectly fine, but don't be surprised if someone speaks up. We includes alot of people, and judging by the responses in this thread to your replies, your we does not include those people either and why they are playing. There are many things in this game that people do that will annoy other people, while the other either thinks its not annoying or is actually doing it to annoy. Can't please them all. Playing the game though being a game does not subvert basic respect for another person. Even the game has rules like society, as this game is still a society. Weather those rules be set, moral, unwrittten, ethical, there are still rules. Without them where would we be as a game society? Logging into the game does not give anyone carte blanche. If someone just wants to act how they please, especially doing things that they know will annoy other people, someone may find offense in that and you may end up with a note in your mailbox.

Not gonna lie, I spam Holy because I like the sound and think the effects are pretty. Surprisingly, OP, not everyone spamming it is a troll, we're oftentimes just easily amused.

Also, you can make macros to turn off battle sounds and effects. I suggest looking up how to do so that way it only takes a single button press to turn them on and off, and your experience won't be lessened.
