WHMs spamming Holy at MBs / Cities / crafters

such as:

-**********Having 6 WHMs spamming Holy during 5 minutes at Limsa’s Market Board.

-**********Having a WHM consistently staying on your character when you are crafting just to spam Holy.

Never seen these guys doing this in Gold Saucer yet BUT I LOOK FORWARD TO IT ("You really want to focus on your TT match? Well ok lets have another H O L Y mate")

Would it be better to spam those spells in dungeons?

Are they doing this only to cause useless noise during casual activities, or maybe for the lag, or only to disturb the gaming exp.?

Of course it is always possible to turn of the sound effects, to turn off the other players effects, etc, but it is also possible for players not to be ass**.

I would like SE to remove the ability to use Holy inside of cities. The community ESPECIALLY ON MOOGLE seems not mature enough to quit doing that. There are a couple of “Holy Events” in some LS that aims at bringing 15/20 players at a same time/place...

I will never understand the "12/13 year old immature boy" approach to things...

Turn off other player effects and sounds if it really bugs you. Both are in the options somewhere (been a long time since I set them to where I want them, sorry)

Se don't need to do anything since you already have the power to do something

A) You admit that you can already do something about it yourself, turn off the animations.

B) If someone is specifically spamming you while you're crafting, that's harassment, you can report it.

So... why does SE need to change anything?

I turned player effects off for people not in my party a while ago cause it helps with FATE and Hunts lag too. Ring of Thorns is another great spam-ey noise spell, although not as much at causing epilepsy @_@

I have other players skill effects off to tone up my game experience. It help to see the enemies in FATEs.

Same thing with DRG's Ring of Thorns. Just because you can turn down the noise and effect doesn't mean you get a free pass to do so. /random spam is similarly considered spamming, even though you can filter it out.

I'd just report them, there is no legitimate reason to spam them around popular NPCs, cities and market areas.
