If your burnt out then reconsider making so many of the weapons.That's your choice to make so many so you chose to engage in this content with full knowledge of the grind. If you're tired then stop. Expecting square to change the balance because you don't know how to moderate yourself is selfish. Know your limits or reap what you sow.

I agree that all the options are there but people tend to get caught up doing whatever gets you from point A to point B the fastest. If the dungeon light rewards were higher in order to compensate for the amount of time they take then more people would consider it a viable option but right now the fact is you can do 1 dungeon in 20-30 minutes or you can do approximately 10 hm primals in that same amount of time. In the end you would end up 40 light from the primals and 12 from the dungeons most of the time (assuming normal light, bonus would be 80 vs 24 which is even worse).

Also, dungeons tend to go bad a lot more often than hm primals do which is another factor to consider. A bad dungeon can take 45+ minutes to complete and the reward stays the same.

The options are all there which is great but the rewards should be re-evaluated so that people feel other options are more viable.

You're literally you're own troll in this thread. I'm also amazed by the fact that you don't seem to be acknowledging that there are indeed other ways to complete your overall objective without getting burnt out on primals. Yes, they are the fastest but by no means is it a requirement to do them for light.

Some people have already mentioned in this thread that they do dungeons. It's been mentioned that the light associated with dungeons isn't as good as primals though. That's been noted here and other threads. Suggestions for it have been noted in other threads. But people have mentioned that you don't have to do just them. When there is no good "bright" window (as it happens to me often), you can go and do anything at that point. You don't need to spam primals when there isn't a bright.

The content of this game is what you make of it. People tell me that completing Novus is fastest if you use hunt seals to grind out Alexandrite while also getting maps. Guess what? Because hunts are grindy awfulness, I went and did the daily expert and did any soldiery map overflow. I got the required alexandrite slow because I didn't use the fastest method and burn myself out of content that was annoying to me.

If you don't wanna do primals anymore, find the other ways to do it and do them. Instead of thinking of how much faster primals are, think instead of how different it is than running a Garuda HM for the 20th time in a row.

It's also a lot less grindy if you don't try to to get everything done asap. When my FC mates find out I'm working on three relics, they think I'm crazy. But I haven't even gotten my first one to zeta yet so I haven't burned myself out grinding like they did just so they could keep up with the Jones's. The Zodiac stage is my least favorites post so far though. Not looking forward to that on two more jobs.

The Zodiac stage is my Fav stage of the all the stages . Why?, at least you a mixsure of things to do. Yes, you're still farming DFS for drops but the crafting parts help break up the quest, keeping it somewhat freah.

it doesn't matter what you change to give more light, people will spam it till it becomes boring because its more efficient, if you want to ENJOY the game, then don't spam things for light farm, just do the things you want to do and have the light be secondary.

See, this is where I disagree. They could just as easily give a significant light bonus to a daily roulette, say +50 or so, making them far more worthwhile for earning progress towards Nexus or Zeta than they currently are. As it stands, you only earn the standard dungeon light for running them.

This way, you prevent people from being able to spam the content, so no chance of burnout, and less chance of people getting frustrated because there's a clear and decisive method for earning a decent amount of light over time. Those who WANT to earn it faster can still do so, but at the same time it won't penalise those who move at a slower pace.

Dear SE, please come up with some other way for players to "quickly" EARN Mahatmas lights and lights other then fighting Primals. (please do not comment on anything to do with RAIDS, this is about relics and the relic quest)

As a player with 3 Zodiac weapons ( soon to be 4 and 5...dont ask me why) this endless fighting and killing of complete cake walk primals is becoming TIRING. So tiring and boring, I no longer get dressed for them. Darklight all the way!!

I know this was by design (help noobs clear them primals). But at what point do I/we get a break? Maybe, I/we should get a Zeta/light bonus everytime we get the first time SOL bonus (many of us dont need sol tomes anymore) We'll take extra lights/zetas instead of tomes, please. (cards, anyone?) Anything?!?

End rant.

ps: This isn't about a nerf, just more ways to quickly EARN lights and Mahatmas lights.

I have tried to get her off the cocaine . . . but obviously I haven't succeeded. I've gotten as far as having her on Friends List, and PSN Friends list. . . I INVITED her to a part for something she needed cleared but then she left right before we got started. Closest I've been so far.

Hey now!!, I have worked my goldsmith,miner and Weaver up to lv 25. And you know, I dont like crafting very much......
