I dont favor dungeons because playing as a DPS means longer Q times (10-15 mins sometimes more, I could clear 10 low lv fates in this time not a big pay out but better then nothing) Also, playing a DPS solo q'ing can be a pain. You never kow what kind of tank or healer you may get ( with the zodiac stage we saw many players q'ing has tanks and healers that couldnt do the jobs) meaning longer Dfs times and fails. Running with my FC helps some. If I'm not on heals, I tend to stay away from running Dungeons in Dfs, if I dont need to clear it on a job.

There will always be an optimal path. You could farm 100 other activities for light, but primals are the fastest and you choose the path of least resistance. If the fastest way to farm light was Satasha normal, then you would be here posting a thread about tired of satasha.

If your bored of the optimal path, then do something suboptimal. If SE changes what is the optimal.path, it doesn't fix the problem just moves it to the new optimal.content.

...you've completed 3 zodiacs and have no idea what we're talking about? Dungeons... at a mere 12 light per dungeon run? And that's assuming you did them after the recent patch, since before then it was halved at a mere 6 light. This also assumes only the highest tier dungeons. So... basically 167 dungeon runs per weapon with current light or 334 dungeon runs per weapon beforehand. A potential total of over 900 dungeons and you have no idea what we're talking about?

Assuming you did run them in dungeons, and assuming (best case scenario) that each dungeon took only 20 minutes total, you're looking at a minimum 167 hour investment. And that's just for Nexus lights. That doesn't factor in Mahatma lights, the atma/alex grinding nor the numerous dungeon runs you likely ran to get your zodiac items.

Heck, worst case scenario you're only getting 4 light per dungeon, meaning 500 needed per weapon at a total of 1,500 dungeon runs. Bringing the hour total to 500 or a total of 21 days pure dungeon grinding game time. That's a whole lot of time invested in a mere 3 weapons.

You went through all of that... and you have no idea what we're talking about? It's hard to take that seriously.

Well, if all you have is 20-30 minutes a day to play and you spend all of that grinding primals, it's no wonder you're burnt out. I'm curious as to how someone with so little time to play is working on their 4th+ zodiac, though...

I always do two or three things at once. While zodiac farming for my Smn, I light farmed on my scholar and bard. While doing the Zeta quest, I've been gaining Alexs for my whm who is on atma book 1 also mixing in my dragoon who is light farming. This is how I got 3 zodiacs and wil see a 4th maybe 5th. I never stop.

Correct. I main Bard, but I also have a Scholar Nexus on a different character, as well as the Excalibur Zeta.
As far as your patience goes, I honestly don't see the fuss. Yes, the windows may be fixed with Primals/Turn 4. But since you're going above and beyond with (4-6) relics(?), you're probably burned out. Take a small break, a day or two, and come back fresh. That's what I did when I was getting them, although I just raided when I was extremely bored with farming.

Yes. I've tanked. I'm usually a patient one, though. Full time student here, so I try to manage my time with raid, work, and this. It sucks, but trust me I know how you feel. Again, you probably are just burnt out~.

Mhm! Just wait till 2.55 or expac. Hell, I bought CoDAW and H1Z1 because im that bored. Only thing that keeps me playing is friends and savage coil.

Hope the new relics aren't similar to these, though.

Thanks for your input. Trying to make the game better for everyone isn't such a great idea, I guess. My BAD. I'll just go away and enjoy my 2nd Z weapon which I finished last night. ps: I DO like this game, but I can see how it could be better. Again,I guess thats a BAD thing.

We are just trying to understand what it is you want to change, the only thing I could see is you said how about doing things like gold saucer/ixali dailies give more light, but you don't seem to understand that those things would then be the go-to thing and everyone would spam it for light farm and get sick of it just like they are sick of garuda.

And honestly I would rather do Ruda than ixali dailies or Gold saucer, neither of those things interest me at all infact most of the stuff in the GS is mind numbing for me. So my point on that is, you can't please everyone and not to mention it doesn't matter what you change to give more light, people will spam it till it becomes boring because its more efficient, if you want to ENJOY the game, then don't spam things for light farm, just do the things you want to do and have the light be secondary.
