Complaining about something bad is how bad things become better. The MGP grind is pretty bad. Even if you make 10k mgp a day, 1 million is a HUNDRED DAYS.

And OMG the person who threw out 133 hours like it was a nothing stat....LAWL. You people are hilarious. A hundred thirty-three hours is 4 hours a day for a whole month. Every day. Grinding mgp and doing nothing else for four hours a day. Get out of here with that ridiculousness!!! LOL!

Threads like this are why we can't have cool, rare things. It's also why we end up with threads complaining about the lack of uniqueness. GS is supposed to be fun, with neato long term rewards, and something to do in between other activities in the game. I understand that there are completionist mind-set people out there, but really...an MMO isn't exactly the kind of game people who need 100% completion shoud be playing and expect it to not take years.

But its true. When I went into GS for the first time. I saw the prices on things and what payouts were. Played a couple games and walked right back out that door, well teleported out. Now I just drop in for the daily/weekly cactpot. It is what it is, but the complainers will no doubt get to the devs and they will nerf things like they have done just to shut people up, but there will always be something else to complain about.

This is not including any variables, such as Cactpot winnings or otherwise I'm assuming, as 20sec of effort if you can win that potential 10k daily isn't exactly something to complain about. So a little over 3 months essentially? How long have you been playing FFXIV again?

On Topic: I work two jobs and know that I'll never get a lot of the items in this game. So what? It's just a game, and who knows, you may hit it big on the cactpot and get what you want. Gold Saucer is going to be around for years, you have plenty of time to earn what you desire.

Sorry i was trying say 3 days want a little over bored since it feel like i been playing forever trying to get the over 200k of MGP and then with the Gear farming today too somewhat lost it on witch day i was on

Too many impatient people. Its not like you need the prizes, they're just glamour / stuff to show off. Your turning it into a grind yourself by trying to get it as fast as your can.

The mini cactpot is a good way to earn extra coins. Every card is a potential winner, and while you won't always win your money back, the odds for winning are very good.

What other 'lottery' has a degree of skill involved? Picking the right lines based on the numbers you scratch off can make the difference between 10,000 MGP or 80, just learn to play your cards right!

My cactpot for today had a highest possible payout of 360~. If 10k and 3kish arent even on the ticket then the payout suddenly becomes a lot less of a good way to earn coins.

My accumulated MGP in the achievement was around 100k by the end of the week. All I did was play TT, won 10k cactpot 3 times, a bit of chocobo racing. I won nothing from jumbo, No GATE farming, and I did plenty of other non gold saucer stuff as well. I don't really see a problem with MGP rates other than the fact that chocobo race rewards suck. I wasn't even playing with the intention of farming MGP.

I think the only problem here is that people are too impatient and want the best rewards in the game but are not willing to work for them or wait for them.

You seem to mention a lot of cases of luck. I've personally not won the 10k cactpot even once. I won 2.1k..once.
Interestingly, most of the time the 10k option wasnt even on my tickets.

The difference between your luck and mine: 30k-2k -> 28k. Your luck earned you + 50% MGP, which is quite a lot.
The cactpot is not a reliable source of MGP.

But i have to agree on one thing be able to sell cards for MGP or anything. I battle 3 NPC and got 3 cards i have. they like wasted of space in ur bag if u can't sell or trade them. im only holding on to them just in case they do something like that. if only the Lady Luck From FFX-2 was in game it help boots ur luck. but it not. As Leblanc will say
