Wow we haven't even had 1 tournament yet. Jumping the gun a little early don't you think?

Also, every one of your suggestions cheapens the tournament prize.
Secondly, what makes you think another card won't eventually become the prize and the Lightning card moved to other content in time? This would follow the existing pattern where old content is nerfed as new stuff is released. So do you really expect this tournament prize to be any different at all?
Lastly, tons of people specifically asked them not to do a single thing with Triad in the cash shop. Your second solution will never happen.

Seems like a solution in search of a problem.

This might be a novel idea, but why don't we actually SEE what a Tournament works like and how the prizes are awarded before we act so full of ourselves to think we can fix it?
