Is it worth to farm zodiac weapons? Returning player

I got three dungeon atma left to get. I been at it 3 days almost 15 dungeons a day and not a single one of those last three.

I'm about to give up.

No. No it isn't worth it. Wasted months just so I can perform the very definition of insanity.

Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

Could have been hanging out with friends or cleaning house or at work doing some overtime. But nope.. sitting here.. doing the same thing over.. and over..

Hang in there. I thought the same thing with my Nirvana, and I can totally say 42 Lost city of Amdapor / 38 Sastasha / 12 Dzaemel Darkholds (The others were less than 10 runs) later that frustration directly equals how happy you'll be when it's done. You're close. Just remember all the work you've put in thusfar equals nothing if you give up now.

Other than glamour purposes I'd say it's not worth the effort when each step you complete just end up feeling "meh" when it comes to stats.

Let's also not forget the RNG and the amount of gil that'll be involved.

I was annoyed by my 35 tam tara runs. 50+ AV runs? Really? @.@

There will likely be a gear reset when the expansion comes out. It's up to you if you want to do 1 year and 6 months worth of grind for Relic now, only a few months before it will probably be replaced.

RNG is all based on time. If your luck sucks, try again in a few hours, luck sucks again? Try again in a few hours. Sometimes it just ain't gonna work at specific times. That is my secret to RNG in this game and I end up doing great. I mean I got 30 alex farmed in 12 hours (not 12 hours nonstop, 12 hours spread out over 3 days). When my luck is awful I stop doing fates and do soldiery farming for maps, return to fates again. I know some people who can only play the game at certain hours during the day and those hours happen to be the bad RNG hours... oh I feel sorry for them >_>

But really RNG based dungeon drops need to disappear in my humble opinion. If you have 16 dungeons to run and one dungeon can hold someone up for 15-20 hours or longer, you're just creating depression and burnout to any normal player while the masochists will be like "HELL YEAH LOST TIME!!11"

im a masochist cause i dont complain when something dont go my way or dont get every drop in an hour?? plenty of other stuff to do if dont get the drops your after whingin about making it more fun or more easier isnt gonna make things better lol as ive said b4 on those whingin threads plenty of alternatives some people like the effort put into gettin relic weapons others dont sadly the minority are the 1s with the loudest voices tho
