Leveling up low leveled battle classes a HUGE issue at moment.

The story is so boring besides unlocking dungeons. Should i just hit 50 first then comeback and finish out the story?

You can't really do anything endgame untill you finish the 2.0 storyline (IE everything story related involving lvling up plus castrum and prae), and in order to unlock more of the primals you have to complete the story up to 2.45 (IE Shiva).

So no, you should finish out atleast the story up to Prae.

Well the story goes to 50 and beyond, but for the 2.0 one, once you hit 50 you should be close to Castrum and Praetorium, with Prae being what you need to do to finish the 2.0 story. After that you should be able to start both the Crystal Tower and Binding Coil raids, as well as Relic Weapon. Half the dungeons you haven't unlocked yet levling wise, as well as two primals (and there are four more primals to unlock through the story after you have hit 50), as well as the hard and extreme mode version of the three you already have (the 4 post 2.0 story all start at hard mode and extreme mode comes after).

The story was designed to where you should almost always be able to do it without stop, with only the last couple levels possibly having a small break where you aren't a high enough level, and as you have already seen leves are a great way to get past that.
