Nowhere does it say that new people should get the loot, what it says is that those who ask for the loot because they actually NEED it, rather than just being for seals/desynth stuff should have more right to it.
But what if I "need" it for the GC seals so I can complete my Nexus/Zodiac weapon?
Or I'm currently leveling my desynthing?
Don't I have just as much of a right to the item that drops in the very same instance I did as you?
Suck it up and do fates. Much faster than a 20-30 minute dungeon and you'll get seals faster.
And to the people who say they "need" it for glamour. You don't need glamour, glamour does nothing for you, it doesn't help win a fight, doesn't help avoid mechanics. Know what does? Someone with better gear. Gear, that you just took because you "need" it.
Think of it this way. Can't find a good healer to join your static? Guess what? The dude you took gear from for seals and desynthing was trying to gear his healer (but too low for the dungeon so he couldn't come on it), so that he could be a better healer. You just slowed the progress of a better healer being available, which ends up hurting more people who need a healer for content. Think of others before you think of yourself. And before you say "if they're not on that job, they don't need the gear", because thats a poor excuse. A majority of people won't come a gimp job for content they're undergeared for. So would you rather have an i120+ drg helping kill or an i70 whm?

I don't know about that, He has to do the run again, making him practice being a healer. Person will likely be a better healer if he/she isn't handed gear leveling but that not really the point. YOU and others have made the judgement that that you or someone else needs something more than someone else...It isn't right. Everyone's time is equally valuable, they do fates instead you wait longer in your queueSNIP.[/B] Know what does? Someone with better gear. Gear, that you just took because you "need" it.

That's some serious hyperbole. Every. Single. Person here had to grind dungeons and get loot. Being new does not excuse you from playing the game as intended. Stop acting like a victim or that those new players are victims. They aren't. They are playing the game the same way, and with the same exact rules as everyone else. You are not an exception because you are new.I don't know about that, He has to do the run again, making him practice being a healer. This just astonishes me with the chain of thought. Why is the time that player A(who WANTS it for seals) spent doing the dungeon worth less than the time player B(Person who WANTS gear for a lower lvl job, I say WANT because if you think player A should "Suck it up" and do fates maybe player b should "Suck it up" and farm to buy gear off MB) spend doing the dungeon? Short answer its not, they both have equal rights to the gear.
LMAO.... I would rather that said WHM grind the lower level dungeons and a few raids, get better at KNOWING the rotation and mob mechanics, and adjust the play style to the end game variety. A lot of these lower level dungeons are fine tuned for level 50 gears, so your "so called under geared" healer should be able to do his/her jobs just fine. They can also run LoTA a couple of times and get decent gears then hit Syrcus Tower. Takes about one week if you play super duper casual and slowly get your gears while getting used to the change in play style. Can't find a good healer to join your static? Guess what? SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE before gears... Getting everyone geared to 100 in a couple hours before they know HOW to play that said roles is a recipe for disaster. EARN it and come as the actual role where you can NEED your gears with ease.

Sure. Right after those poor dungeon newbies suck it up and go do fates and leves. You get exp, can buy awesome green gear with seals from fates. You can get more exp, level appropriate nq gear rewards, and even rare pink gear from leves.
You act as if dungeon loot is the only way a player can get gear. GC gear, leve gear, market board gear, quest rewards, crafting their own, melding gear. You can go 1 to 50 without 1 piece of dungeon loot and never be undergeared. I hated dungeons and only did the required ones once from 1 to 50. I didn't do cutters cry until I had been 50 for 8 months for.crying out loud. I can count on 1 hand the number of level relevant dungeon drops I got for drg as my 1st trip to 50.
Cuts both ways. Lv 50s aren't the only ones with alternative options.
No one NEEDS gear by your vaunted definition.
