New Garlean Invasion Event - North of Horizon

that only happens when the npc is up and for some reason it doesnt happen sometimes. LIke i was there an hour with npc up and no battle npc popped.

the npc doesnt spawn right at horizon, when alfgar pops in uldah he tells you to go to north horizon which is up on the map from the camp itself

Precisely, Akira. The NPC spawns where the actual battle takes place, not at the camp itself. I can't get on the game right now, but for Camp Tranquil, it's the first big clearing with the river along the path north towards Gridania. The NPC spawns at the southern entrance and the Garlean soldiers come from the path along the north.

I have other people who can confirm that the timing is consistently 20-30 mins.

Thus making this entire thread pointless.

ive been at that area for hours, its never spawned.. like i was there for a good 8 hours. and for an hour while roysia was up the other night. It happens 30 min for like an hour or so period every few days.

Then I suppose it could be a fluke or a bug of some sort. Come to Lindblum, I'll be happy to show you how often the event happens in our neck of the woods.

every other thread on this says it only happens when roysia (at tranquil) or alfgar are up. Other people have camped it all day and never seen it.
