its one thing if they are after a specific piece of gear, but to just let someone walk with all of a certain type is rediculous. Also, they better say it before the run starts, not when it pops in the treasure box. Im in there to get seals, not to provide someone who isnt in my FC or likely my server with free stuff.

Glamour, seals, and any other function should be greed. In my *opinion* anything else is simple selfishness or a sense of entitlement in a game where gearing other classes is made difficult even though one of the hallmarks is being able to play all classes on one character.

Tell that to the 80k seals you need for each relic quest and the 80k seals you need for each Lucis tool.

And... gearing other classes is difficult? Did I miss a memo somewhere or something? ._.

Shouldn't have been a Dbag. Most likely you don't need the Healer gear or you could have said something like "Sorry I also need healer gear".

Pretty sure throwing a tantrum over being told 'no' makes you more of a dbag than saying 'no' ever could.

Lol that's not rude. It's rude if you say it like an a-hole, but to just ask if anyone wouldn't mind passing on specific gear isn't rude. It's within your right to say no, but if I don't need a piece (for vanity or for upgrades) why wouldn't I let someone else have it regardless of what role they are? I'll pass on the 1000 seals if it will help someone out to get some gear they're farming.

The reason is irrelevant. It could be just because he wants GC seals, glamor, his side class, etc and that's all perfectly valid. He doesn't in any way have to justify why he wants to greed on the gear at all. If that player wanted healer gear so bad he should have came as a healer. Period.

Accusing other people of entitlement and saying I said gear should be passed is completely ignorant of my statement. I didn't say anything about passing or that I am somehow entitled to the gear. But your general statement could easily be construed as the very thing you seem so set against.

Oh seriously, you certainly inferred that certain people have more of a right to gear than others. Sorry but I have all my roles leveled and I have them in full 110 or higher gear. I worked my butt off to do that and didn't ask anyone to pass on anything other than a friend who knew I wanted a specific piece of gear for glamor or otherwise. I would do the same for them. I also have 4 Zodiac's and I sure didn't get the 320,000 seals needed for them by passing on gear. Get real and simply stop it already. You have no more right to anything dropped than anyone else. I too have an opinion and I'm not afraid to express it either.

There is certainly nothing wrong for someone to ask others to pass but they certainly don't have the right to get into a tiff about it if they don't, let alone kick someone from a duty because of it. It's up to each individual to make the decision to pass and to try and somehow pass judgement on them if they don't agree to pass is simply wrong.
