I was not "If you don't like, don't post" bit, you can post just don't be a jerk about it by attacking me or attacking others, you can discuss about how you feel about those npcs but going "I'm gay and this is offensive to me, OP is a troll, this post should be deleted" is not it. Trust me, I'm not trying to troll later down the pages, I'm trying to lighten up the mood cause people got really serious to the point that many were personal attacking me out of *no where* that's not relevant to the topic of this thread. Like the say go "Some people like to see the world burn" or in this case "Like to pull the trigger of a gun towards the other with a flower in their hand" Yes, I think the black mi'qote is cute, but I'm also like how the couple go off into the sunset after all they been through and I thought that was really cute and sweet. They went off to make the world or *at the least* the palace a better place for those tomberries to live.
Sorry about the title of the thread but MAYBE IF I could have change the title to "NPC couple of Wonder palace" instead of "gay couple npcs" people would be LESS to put up forks by seeing the title and by pass going in the thread but the outcome would just be the same on whats happening in this thread, I thought they were cute and I wanted to congrats SE that they made me go AWW, they be fighting other people judgements and protecting the tomberries safe, instead it got turned into a Homo vs hetro thread. People need to not be so SERIOUS all the time.
Anyway, whats done is done but my statement still rings true, that black miq, gimmie, that one needs a LALA in his life over that other guy =3

So this has gotten a little... odd, since I last checked the thread. I've apparently become some sort of symbol... for.... something. Who knows. Anyway.
My post was apparently deleted for... reasons unknown. Oh well. Moving on. Some clarity on a few things, starting with the lovely OP who is now pulling the victim card:
Not a single person has said this, and presumably you're referring to me based on this context. I also assume you're the one who reported my post, which is pretty hilarious, frankly. Please do not pull the drama card here. My post was a "This is embarrassing and just undermines a lot of validity in the gay community when someone who is simply squeeing over the couple makes a post doing just that." It was not a call for the thread to be deleted (Especially because there's actually been a decent amount of legitimate discussion, despite your attempts to 'lighten the mood,' thankfully), it was a call for you to perhaps realize that you are what give a bad name to the LGBT community, despite most likely not even being part of it. Just look at some of the post saying things such as "A lot of the LGBT community needs to learn the difference between being proud and being obnoxious."but going "I'm gay and this is offensive to me, OP is a troll, this post should be deleted" is not it.
Guess what camp this thread (Or at least the original post) falls into? And all of this is assuming you aren't a troll.
There was one single post that was even remotely close to a 'personal' attack on you. And perhaps if you didn't immediately turn to trying to troll (Or 'lighten the mood' as you put itcause people got really serious to the point that many were personal attacking me out of *no where* that's not relevant to the topic of this thread.), people would take it more seriously. Food for thought.
Actually that's not what happened at all, it turned into a "What type of visibility is good visibility for the homosexual community?" which is a perfectly valid discussion.instead it got turned into a Homo vs hetro thread.
And some people need to realize that their actions, no matter how minor, have direct repercussions on the perceptions other people have on the community you're busy squeeing over. Good and bad.People need to not be so SERIOUS all the time.
And in general, @the thread:
I have zero issues discussing these sorts of things. My issue was entirely with the way it was brought up, and the frequency that a thread along these lines pop up. I don't even frequent the forums and I still have seen a fair share of them. If a friend hadn't pointed this out to me, I would never have even noticed my post was deleted. I'll happily discuss the topic all day, but I'm also not going to go out of my way to go "HORREE CRAP SE TANKS 4 DA REPREZENTASHUN!" As I have said already, personally I am of the mindset that things such as this couple should simply be an "Oh, neat." Not everyone will agree that that is sufficient, and that's perfectly okay too. If that is the case, make a thread akin to "Thanks SE for inserting this couple neatly into the game without forcing it!", not "First ever gay couple NPC's (Which is already wrong): OMG it was so cute, the miqo'te was sooooo good looking..." etc.
Sigh. Such a foolish series of events. I could babble for a lot longer on this, but my point has been made. Moving right along.
EDIT: And you edited your post (OP) after I posted this.
Yeah, thanks for proving my point.Anyway, whats done is done but my statement still rings true, that black miq, gimmie, that one needs a LALA in his life over that other guy =3

Melriss made a post towards me calling me a "stupid manchild" which got reported and deleted. its on page 5, he even stated right after I called it a personal attack by quote
-----------------
Nope, I didn't report your post, I reported the personal attack Melriss did towards me, the first ever in this forums, there was no reason to even report yours, maybe someone you were talking too did or someone else, who knows.
Second, I would have called out any other couple gay or not gay. IF I think its cute, I think its cute and I should be allowed to post that.
---------------------
Well, kinda hard for me to see that through the flames that was happening in the thread.
You're welcome

When you see someones glamour with non matching boots
Perhaps if you didn't make such posts as:
People might be more inclined to actually respect your views.
So two total posts in 5 pages. One of which was even debatably a 'flame' against you.Well, kinda hard for me to see that through the flames that was happening in the thread.
Not going to really bother after this, you've pretty much said nothing of substance this entire thread and I'm still not unconvinced that you're not a troll.
So, I thought you were moving on, guess not.
It's called sarcasm, look it up.
And I responded with sarcasm on that *one* flame but I'm talking about the flames that were growing in the thread with people discussing and reporting and getting posts deleted like yours.
I didn't want to discuss about "What type of visibility is good visibility for the homosexual community?", that wasn't the point of this thread so there was no "need" to even post nor touch that subject for me. its what YOU wanted to talk about.
Edit: ALSO I did say

I'm all for more representation being gay myself and I loved this little scene, but the way you are going about it is not right at all Pinkie.
It sounds like you are fetishising us from a lot of your comments in this topic and it's honestly very disturbing. We want to be treated like people, our existence isn't here to make you squeal and fantasize.
You remind me of this girl that tried to take a random photo of me and my boyfriend because we she thought we were cute. We are not animals in a zoo exhibit.

Calypsx, there's no need to even say " representation being gay myself" I really don't care if you are gay, BI or not, I could be "BI" but who knows, I'm not stating it. second, those are fantasy "NPCS" for god sake. In real life I wouldn't care but in a game, I think its cute and like the miqu'te and hyur and my lalafell wants the miqu'te ALL to herself.
I've been stating that over and over and over with comments like "my lalafell wants that miqu'te" AND "I could eat that miqu'te like ice cream", that NPC himself and also commenting on why the hyur is a bad combo for a Miqu'te. (I could never see those two paired up anyway for some reason but that's my opinion)
I'm not talking about Gay people in general as a *whole*
God forbid anyone thinking two couples are cute for one another, gay or not.
Edit: ALSO, lalafells superior race over all, we demand your finest wine, your finest men and women, and all the gold you have. oh oh oh and also your pants, we like pants to make us feel big in.

You say it doesn't reflect real life and they are just NPCs yet you had people thinking this topic was about actual good representation in games and media. There was actually a healthy discussion in this topic but it turns out the disturbing original intent was just a way to publicly display your perverted thoughts.
Turns out this topic was never originally made to be about representation at all, just about you freaking out over gay NPCs.

So I just really want to say how nice this was for SE to put this in. Especially when topics like are considered, "controversial" (when imo they shouldn't be.)
As for this topic.
It's really gone downhill and now has really put a damper on such a good thing.
Especially when we have OP making things just way too over the top.
Not only that but the fact that OP has been editing her/his posts along the way to play the victim when she's been slamming people left and right is really annoying.
Please GMs lock this topic.
This is getting out of hand and not needed.
